Great location and people, affordable option
Woodmont Terrace is a great option, especially if you intend to live alone. It was one of the most affordable options that I found. It is a "no fuss" apartment so I wouldn't expect flashy appliances or anything like that; however, it's got everything that I need: ample space, amenities (gym, pool, tennis courts, etc.), and even a patio. The management company is also very responsive and easy to work with. Some downsides are that there is no central heat/air (so just a window unit) and there is no in-unit washer and dryer (just a shared laundry facility); however, I have not not found either of these to be a huge issue. Overall, I would recommend!

Great location and people
Woodmont Terrace Apartments is a fantastic option, especially for students looking to live alone. It was by far the most affordable place that I could find. The apartment is fairly spacious and my unit in particular has a beautiful outdoor patio area that overlooks a creek. The apartments are older (which was a plus for me), but if someone is looking for something more modern this definitely is not it. There is a small gym, pool, and tennis courts. The neighborhood is fantastic, with lots of beautiful historic homes. There is also a small park that's practically in my backyard. The only downside is that it's not quite walkable to any restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It's about a 25 minute walk to 12 South (so somewhat far, but not too bad). I also love my commute to campus. There is no traffic and you don't have to get on the interstate. Most days I get to campus in less than 10 minutes. One small note: it is a no pet community.
