Deceitful owner and property management

I negotiated a $1300 rent rate for the three years I knew I'd be in law school in 2021. Now that the market has picked back up, I've been having issues with property management billing me in excess for utilities and was threatened with eviction if I didn't pay, despite trying to show proof of prior payments to demonstrate the charges were in excess. Ultimately, it has been a poor experience and I will now have to pursue a claim in small claims court. Avoid at all costs.
