Awesome apartment in 12-unit complex
I've loved living in this building managed by Oak Park Apartments for the past 2 years as a medical student. Great neighbors, and the building is pretty quiet. Management is always responsive to concerns and maintenance requests, though I've rarely had to request much assistance as the building is well taken care of. There are 6 studios and 6 one-bedroom units in the building, each with a storage unit in the basement. There's coin laundry in the basement, though the one-bedrooms have washer/dryer in-unit. They have been recently renovated but all of the units still have some of the original early 1900s architecture (fireplaces and cabinetry, claw-foot tubs). Walkable distance to many shops, restaurants/bars, as well as the blue line for public transit. Located in a quiet neighborhood with many single-family homes. Overall a great place to live!
