Very clean and new. Only problem is thin walls, but it’s not too bad.

Great apartment
The only problem I have had is that the gym has been under construction for several months

Overall good
The location is nice since it is a short drive to school. The only issue I have is the parking garage security. There were multiple car break-ins, but they've hired additional security, so I can't tell yet if it's helped.
They also have part of the garage blocked by a gate which we have access to. I don't believe there have been any break-ins past the gate.

Overall the building is very nice, however the management is slightly incompetent.

Not great…
Everything looks and feels very updated and modern. Very nice finishings in the kitchen/bathroom.
But… management is a disaster, the amenities are not as advertised, and things are generally a hot mess.
My apartment was not professionally cleaned when I moved in. There was a significant amount of construction dust/dirt on the floors, and I had to empty my vacuum multiple times trying to get all of the drywall dust out of the carpet in the bedroom.
Do not choose an apartment anywhere near the dumpster. They are emptied most mornings very early (between 4AM and 7AM), and it is incredibly loud. It wakes me up every time. Management said that they cannot change the location of the dumpster or the time that it is emptied because “that is controlled by the city.” I checked with the city… it is a private waste management company that the city has no affiliation with. I circled back with management and let them know that it was a private company, and then they said they wouldn’t do anything about it because the construction company that built the apartments still held the account with the waste management company. I explained to them that either way, this waste management company is violating city ordinances that prohibit dumpsters from being emptied in residential areas before 6AM. I kindly explained this to the apartment management, and let them know that they should file a complaint with the city, but they acted like I was stupid for suggesting this. Quite honestly, whenever I have approached them to discuss anything, they have consistently been rude, standoffish, unhelpful, and talked down to me as if I were a child. So, I took several hours of my own time calling the waste management company, filing complaints with the city, speaking with law enforcement and city officials, and even talking to the truck drivers themselves. I should not have to do their job for them.
The “6000 sq ft fitness center” advertised on their website is a lie. The gym is “still under construction” aka construction has not begun at all. It is a big, unfinished room filled with fridges and outdoor furniture. I asked repeatedly in August through September when the gym would be finished, only to be told “soon,” “maybe by the end of September,” or “probably by the end of October.” I found out in October that they were just starting to take bids from contractors to finish the gym, so I feel very lied to about this.
As of January, all of the fitness equipment is here sitting in boxes, inconveniently taking up all of the room in the bike storage room. Why are they still advertising a fitness center on their website when it seems they have no intention of providing this amenity? With so many people complaining about this, why haven’t they made some sort of alternative arrangement? Set up some equipment in one of the many vacant units? Put some dumbbells in the lobby? At least be honest about the fact that the gym is not going to be finished in the foreseeable future and stop advertising it on the website? Anything?
Also, the pool and courtyard area is only unlocked from 10AM to 10PM, so don’t count on being able to sit outside in the mornings. The main front door has been broken for several weeks now, the garage gates don’t work… it is a hot mess. They have a lot of people working here both in the office and in maintenance so there is no excuse to not keep up basic things like this. High end look and feel maybe, but hot mess when you actually live here.
