Poor management, unresolved work orders, bad communication
Property owners often neglect responding to work orders for broken shared washer/dryer. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide readers were broken, we only leaned they were broken when there was a carbon monoxide leak and our neighbors had to get us. Often need to make repairs and purchase improvements yourself. Management changed the building locks without notifying anyone and we were all locked out. They had us paying the utility bill for the entire building (averaging $200-300 a month) and only corrected it to just our unit after 6 months of arguing back and forth. The unit above us is abandoned and we can hear pests running around in it at night. We complained of mice but they didn’t do anything. No AC, no control over heat and often too cold to use the living room in the winter. Fireplace in living room leaks rain and snow, management refuses to cap chimney or block fireplace.

Good for the price- but unresponsive management a lot of the time
Good for the price and a newly renovated unit. The management is not very responsive when we have maintenance issues as a result of the cheap renovation they did. For example, we have an open chimney that leaks that they won't either close up or make a suitable fire place.
Additionally, during the winter the heat was poor and we already live in a very drafty apartment.
The neighbors are a bit noisy and we live on somewhat of a busy rode, but not a noise level worse then I experienced living at my undergraduate institution.
Good parking arrangement when parking spots are not full which happens sometimes. Very close to the school which is a plus.
Fire alarms have cheap batteries that go off because the batteries are dead which is annoying because it happens frequently. But, the management come out promptly to fix that issue when it arises.
