Wynnewood Park Apartments

Great value for the apartment, really close to school. Maintenance requests are responded to promptly.

I have enjoyed living at Wynnewood Park.

Pros: Very big apartment. Washer and dryer in unit. Dishwasher. Spacious balcony. Lots of storage (closet is huge) including an outdoor storage unit on the balcony. Very secure (2 doors are locked on the way in). Neighbors are very friendly and the property is very nice (lots of trees, very walkable). Pool and basketball court on property. Carpet is soft.

Cons: The air conditioning also gets VERY expensive. In the winter, energy bills are only about $30. In the summer, they are between $150-180 with AC at 73 degrees. Additionally, the oven tends to heat up the entire apartment and the stovetop doesn't really change temperature much (it's like low or high). Washer and dryer plumbing is connected to the shower so the water backs up into the tub (might be unit specific?). Some freeway/train noise but don't notice it too often. Lastly, I have noticed quite a few bugs in the apartment and my neighbors have had trouble with mice.

Generally good apartment. No additional fees for parking, gas, or water. Only issue is appliances are fairly old. Have had to call maintenance multiple times for issues with appliances. Maintenance is also somewhat dismissive of my roommate who is a woman.
