Overly expensive for what you get
I would not recommend this apartment complex. It is more expensive than most other comparable apartment complexes but the apartments and amenities are dated. Furthermore, the leasing company is not particularly helpful (though in the past few months they have improved). Apartment complex is loud and the entire property is poorly kept and commonly dirty. Pros: Location, Free Parking, Pet Friendly (with fee)

Terrible Apartment with Terrible Management
Not to be a debbie downer but this is an absolutely awful complex. Management is unresponsive to maintenance requests, there is trash all over the complex property (even though we pay an absurd monthly fee). The gated community does not have working gates, the property is wide open.

AMAZING LOCATION!
You really can't beat the location of this building. If you want to happy hour, there's a sports bar next door. If you want a bite to eat, there are amazing restaurants all up and down Congress including Hopdoddy's and Homeslice. This complex is very pet friendly and you meet a lot of people at the pool. Overall great experience.

Perfect location for young adults
Great location right on south congress. walking distance to hopdoddy's etc. The pool is great in the summertime, lots of fun guests and pool parties. The apartments are huge, especially in three bedrooms like my own. Maintenance is fast, but the management and parking situation is a little bit of a mess. Would recommend.

You get what you pay for
CityView at SoCo is a great location and it is cheaper than the other apts in the area, but it is because the place is built INCREDIBLY CHEAP! Stuff is always broken, you can hear through the walls, you know when your neighbors are getting personal... They tried to make people start buying "premium" parking spots by turning half of the garage into "premium parking". If you show up after 8, good luck parking at the apt. You'll probably have to park down the street and walk back. I've personally caught someone stealing bikes out of the garage and after the office was notified about it? They didn't report it back to the tenants.

Great Location, not worth $
They totally take advantage of every fee they can. They even changed the free parking to make everyone pay. They make you pay for every little thing including $50 a month for trash valet service. Also, had a robbery situation and failed to tell anyone.

Great Location and low cost
While the apartment is not the nicest in the world, I have really enjoyed living there because the location is incredible and I am paying much less than being downtown. Cityview is right across the south congress bridge so walking distance to downtown and you are right on south congress as well. Don't live here if you are looking for great amenities.

Cityview at SoCo
This has been the worst experience so far - way too expensive, way too noisy. It's like I am living in a frat house! The location is nice, but it is not worth the cost. The neighbors leave trash outside the doors on the weekends, the clubhouse is trashed almost every weekend, and people are making noise outside all of the time, I can barely sleep at night.

South River City Reviews
- There are lots of restaurants but few are quick serve and many are pricey, so they get old fast.
- Very nice to be next to Zilker and Town Lake, but we don't use it as often as we could. - Being close to a large park that hosts lots of large events and located at a major intersection (Barton Springs and S. Lamar), there are lots of drunks, bad drivers, litterers, and homeless people. Also, lots of aggressive bikers illegally using the sidewalk which makes walking your dog a nuisance.
Lots of families.
Close to one convenience store/gas station.
Close to one bar/restaurant. 5 minute drive to South Congress/Downtown Very quiet. Close to I-35 highway. Pet friendly. Walkable.
