Campus Crossings is convenient but not the best place

I have liked my experience there. It is a convenient place next to Emory, fully furnished and there's a shuttle going to and coming from Emory every 15-30 minutes. Having said, customer service is not really great and the internet is at most times extremely slow. Still a good place to live in given rent cost.

Convenient, well maintained

Campus Crossings is quite perfect for Emory Students, especially international students, given its proximity to Emory, great shuttle access, good facilities and furnished apartments.

Very convenient location and amazing shuttle services. Perfect for people NOT owning a car. Kroger is just 2 mins walk away.

Very convenient but don't expect much customer service

Campus Crossings is a great place to live at overall due to the convenience it offers. It is fully furnished including a bed, desk, chair, microwave, living-room table, sofa, dryer, washing machine and dish washer. However, customer service is nowhere near perfect and needs improvement. Your requests will not always be met on time or at all plus they are a bit slow to fix stuff. The convenience still outweighs those issues which is why i renewed my lease.

Practical alternative

Campus Crossings offers furnished units and has a Emory shuttle stop, which makes it easier for someone moving from another country with no vehicle.

Managment is really bad

I love the apartment for the reason it is conveniently located, with a Kroger near by and a shuttle service to campus and most importantly all my friends live in the complex.
But the management of the complex is really bad. there are frequent internet snafoos and the charges for routine maintenance stuff like carpet cleaning are really high.
Overall, I would rate it to be an average

Convenient for international students

Arriving a few days before the start of the program, I did not want to indulge in buying furniture for the apartment and as such Campus Crossings was a great place. Comes furnished, right next to Krogers, frequent shuttle service and comes with in-house laundry. I would say the convenience trumps any drawbacks.

Campus Crossing at Briarcliff

The apartments are well maintained and the best part is they come with electrical equipments - washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. However the experience can be improved if the management was better. They take a long time to resolve residents' issues and some times it is noisy as it is mostly students who live here.

Close to campus, but that's about it

Campus crossings is the go to for grad students at Emory, which is quite unfortunate because they seem to have weird policies and overcharge for everything. Maintenance requests take forever to complete, and the parking is absurdly expensive. The office staff are very friendly though, and try to help as much as they can. There are fun social events that are thrown during various months. If I had more time I could always find a cheaper apartment that's cheaper, however the proximity to campus is pretty valuable. The shuttle to campus is useful since parking is a pain. The gym has outdated equipment. Also, a tanning bed? Not public healthy...

Getting around North Druid Hills

North Druid Hills Reviews

150 reviews
It's a prime location for getting around the city! I can get to midtown, Decatur, inman park, etc. in about a 20 min drive or less. The drive to school each morning is about 10-15 mins with little to no traffic. The area is safe with tons of restaurants and shopping. The only downside is that it's not close to any prime nightlife scene, but Ubers aren't too expensive. Incredibly safe which is something I was looking for as a woman living alone. There's no perfect place, but for the amount of space I have (850 sq ft), safety, proximity to school, and easy access to other areas in the city, it can't be beat.
North Druid Hills is a lovely neighborhood and one that I am happy to be living in as my first exposure to Atlanta. There are beautiful tree lined streets and its proximity to Emory is a great selling point.
Beautiful houses and trees, calm, quiet community.
It's an open area with trees. Very close to Emory campus as well as the Toco Hills plaza (Kroger, Publix, many restaurants). Further down Clairmont at the intersection with North Decatur road, there's another Publix as well as some other restaurants in the plaza.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
Very convenient location as far being somewhat close to a lot of different areas though it itself isn't where the night life or all the best restaurant areas are. Lots of grocery options very close by, including Whole Foods, Krogers and Publix.
My wife and I love walking through the beautiful homes in the local neighborhood. It is a very safe area even at night.
You can find any type of store or restaurant that you would ever need within a 5-15 minute drive.
My wife and I go on walks around sunset most nights through the neighborhood. Have never felt unsafe. Neighbors are all very friendly along our walks. Lots of beautiful homes to gawk at.
