The free Emory bus comes right in front of the building. A lot of 1st years stay here. It comes furnished.

Review of Campus Crossings

Great location and very accessible with the bus route near by. The furnishings are good but nothing to rave about--fairly good considering it's included in rent. The personnel are always pleasant and repairs are taken care of in a decently timely manner.

Parking is not included, each apartment has a separate rental agreement and lease- regardless of sharing.

Travelling without a car is an issue in the US. CC is very conveniently located and has a dedicated free shuttle route for Emory. Moreover, one can just walk to Kroger for all groceries. The next biggest advantage is that this place comes fully furnished, so you don't have to go through the hassle of furnishing the apartment. It is also located pretty close to campus, and I bike often. The candler field is also in walkable distance- great for outdoor runs and sports. Although not super glamorous, CC is an extremely convenient option overall.

Terrible

The only positive things to say about this apartment is it's somewhat cheap, close to campus, and close to a bus stop. Everything else about this apartment complex is horrible from start to finish. The staff is terrible and totally unhelpful

You get what you pay for

It’s a cheap apartment complex. Rent is cheap, furnishings are cheap, materials are cheap. It’s fine and it gets the job done, but it’s definitely not somewhere I spend more time than I have to. The walls are thin, but luckily most other tenants are quiet because it’s all grad students.

Convenient for first year, new to area

Campus Crossings Apts are very convenient as a first year student. With a shuttle route that stops on the property going directly to campus, you can easily save money on a parking pass on campus. It is also furnished, if you are not interested in dealing with that hassle as well. Because most utilities and internet are included, we only pay one other bill per month (electricity; we choose not to have cable). The downside here is that you have to pay for parking at the complex ($65 covered, $85 covered and gated) which is absurd; and the furniture is not worth the price for the low quality. Otherwise, the upkeep of the property is very good. The pool is great in the summer and the gym, though tiny, has basic essential equipment. The staff is very friendly as well, and Kroger is a short walk away. Overall, good choice for first year, but after learning the area, I will be living elsewhere next year.

Everything you can ask for as an International Student

Campus Crossings is a fully furnished apartment complex with good management and maintenance staff. It has a pool, clubhouse, gym, yoga studio, tanning bed and a gazebo. The house is spacious and well designed with everything you need. Each room has a private bathroom and the tenants are respectful of each other's privacy and noise levels are low.

Getting around North Druid Hills

North Druid Hills Reviews

150 reviews
It's a prime location for getting around the city! I can get to midtown, Decatur, inman park, etc. in about a 20 min drive or less. The drive to school each morning is about 10-15 mins with little to no traffic. The area is safe with tons of restaurants and shopping. The only downside is that it's not close to any prime nightlife scene, but Ubers aren't too expensive. Incredibly safe which is something I was looking for as a woman living alone. There's no perfect place, but for the amount of space I have (850 sq ft), safety, proximity to school, and easy access to other areas in the city, it can't be beat.
North Druid Hills is a lovely neighborhood and one that I am happy to be living in as my first exposure to Atlanta. There are beautiful tree lined streets and its proximity to Emory is a great selling point.
Beautiful houses and trees, calm, quiet community.
It's an open area with trees. Very close to Emory campus as well as the Toco Hills plaza (Kroger, Publix, many restaurants). Further down Clairmont at the intersection with North Decatur road, there's another Publix as well as some other restaurants in the plaza.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
Very convenient location as far being somewhat close to a lot of different areas though it itself isn't where the night life or all the best restaurant areas are. Lots of grocery options very close by, including Whole Foods, Krogers and Publix.
My wife and I love walking through the beautiful homes in the local neighborhood. It is a very safe area even at night.
You can find any type of store or restaurant that you would ever need within a 5-15 minute drive.
My wife and I go on walks around sunset most nights through the neighborhood. Have never felt unsafe. Neighbors are all very friendly along our walks. Lots of beautiful homes to gawk at.
