Remington Square

I have a lot of space for a studio and love having my own space. It is perfect for someone living alone and would likely be a great experience for a couple living together as well. The parking is good. There are 24-hour laundry facilities, but they cost money ($2.00 for one cycle which can add up when washing and drying multiple loads). The management is very nice and respond quickly when needed.

Quiet neighborhood, close to campus

If you can allocate half of your meager ku salary towards living expenses its not so bad - however I have other means to supplement my income so I don't recommend this housing option to international GPA's whose only source of income is the GTA salary.

Quiet and safe well-kept studios on bus route

I’ve lived here for a year and a half and I love it! I don’t think there’s a studio of this quality in Lawrence for a better price. It is pricier to live alone, but well worth it!

Remington square is an okay apartment complex. Utilities work, there is always parking spaces. There is an onsite washing room, but be aware it is $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry a load of laundry.

Love living at Remington Square. The units are very nice and management is pretty good to work with. My only complaint is no in-unit laundry and it costs $4 to wash and dry a single load. You also have to pay for wifi and energy on top of rent. Other than that I love living here!

Remington is a good place for student living and has just enough room in the studio units to spread out without feeling cramped. However, the rent is a little high for a studio apartment, you might have to walk a ways for laundry, and the pool/gym/common area is very underwhelming.

I will say the leasing office has always been responsive and helpful, so if you can afford living here and don't mind some walking, then I'm sure you'll be happy.

Very good at working with me. They also allowed me to sign leases that ran from August to May so I didn't have to pay for the summer.
