Overall Good Place to live
It's a pretty good place to live.

Easy access to trails and the Highway
Pros:
- Relatively new construction
- Great access to trails and sidewalks
- Maintenance is (usually) quick and always friendly
- Easy parking
- I highly recommend getting a patio with a golf course view, if you can.
Cons:
- The lighting isn't great, so be prepared to invest in lamps if that's important to you (we have a West-facing window, so the afternoon lighting is good).
- Not super well-insulated, so it gets drafty in the Winter
- Not a ton of storage

Great first apartment
The apartment complex is large and fairly well managed. You receive many amenities including a gym, pool, tanning beds, golf course, sand volleyball, and dog park. These definitely enhance the complex. Apartments are nice but maintenance often takes longer than it should. That’s my only complaint.

The Links at Kansas
Moved in when it was a new building. It has slowly become a bit less nice. Quiet and family friendly, nice location (if you want to be a bit away from most student housing). The apartment management is not super friendly or helpful and it lacks a sense of community. Not good if you rely on public transit. Rent is cheap and has not increased since we moved in four years ago.

A nice place, but a bit pricey
The apartment has nice amenities, and is a nice place to live. However, you definitely are paying for what you get as it's a bit pricey. Still, the price is a good reflection of how nice the apartment itself is, plus access to a great pool and gym. It's a generally quiet complex, as well.

Pretty good
I live in a pretty quiet part of the Links. I can never hear my neighbors to the side, but can generally hear my upstairs neighbors stomping around so be warned

Love living here!!!
Everything about the apartments are great, just kinda far from campus.

Excellent
The Links has been an awesome living arrangement for myself, my girlfriend, and our dog. There is a golf course, pool, gym, basketball, and dog park on site. The maintenance crew just saying awesome here and have responded within 24 hours of any maintenance request we’ve had. The Links is also very reasonably priced and a quiet place good for studying.

Good location for getting outdoors
The Links has a great location next to Rock Chalk Park if you are someone who likes to spend a lot walking/running/biking. It's also near a Walmart and some of the West Lawrence dining. If you don't have a car or if you want to be closer to campus and downtown, this wouldn't be the best location for you. The complex opened in 2018, so it's new construction and may not be as worn down as some older places. The amenities are all really nice, but I honestly don't use them much.
Management is friendly, but it is part of a large property management company so they generally don't offer much flexibility. The maintenance people are great and usually quick to respond.
In my experience, it's pretty quiet and tends to be a slightly older (i.e. not undergrads) community. I'm on the bottom floor and I never hear my next door neighbors, and the noise from the unit above mine is minimal.
