Great Place

Is quiet, clean, and affordable. Maintenance is fast. Close to the law school. I am a female living alone and my parents and I feel safe with me there. Close to downtown.

Fine Apartment, Getting Pricey

The apartment itself is well laid-out with a fairly large kitchen and a space that is perfect for either setting up a study area or putting a dining table in. The covered parking is a bonus for tenants who have a car. The management stays out of your business, for the most part, and maintenance requests are completed fairly quickly (except during move in/move out season, when they are working on prepping apartments for new residents).

However, the facilities are not impressive. Delivery drivers for UPS, FedEx, and Amazon seem to have a hard time getting in through the locked gate (with no lockbox or access code for most of these companies), so you almost have to be home or be willing to drive or stay home in order to get anything delivered. Most of the laundry machines, both washers and dryers, only work half of the time you use them and often "eat" your quarters, which is the only way you can operate them.

My biggest issue is that a new leasing company bought the apartment from the owners that I originally rented from and they continually increase the rent with seemingly no justification for doing so - there are no new amenities or big repairs being done, but the price continues to increase.
