Wonderful Community
We really loved living here. It's an ideal space for kids, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is very friendly!

Clean and basic, but lacking on helpful amenities
Not fully thought out for families when it was built. There isn’t much community even though it is family housing. No good place to store bikes. But the apartments are clean and new and things work. Also, it’s near impossible to beat the price for what you get—clean, new, and close to campus.

Landings review
It is an “ok” one just because we had no other better options

The Landings experience
It's the perfect site for someone looking to live at a family friendly environment, with fresh air and at a reasonable distance from campus. During spring and summer, walking to or from campus is beautiful and de-stressing. The apartments are small but enough to live in them, every apartment has a storage room. The kitchen is small and open so while cooking all the apartment fills with the smell, and even the smell reaches the common areas, which is a bit uncomfortable. The administration is kind of bad but everywhere in South Bend has poor household administrators, so that's something common of the town. And the best part is that it's the cheapest place to live near campus.

Great place to live
Quiet and clean apartment complex. No problems this far. New and updated. Can use ND Wi-Fi in apartment which is fast and efficient.

The Landings at Notre Dame
The Landings are a great spot for students that have families and would like to be close to campus. The apartment units are not huge but the way they are designed seems to maximize the square footage. Everything is new and maintenance does a good job of responding soon if there is something that needs to be fixed. There are not a lot of amenities such as a gym, pool, etc.

New with Thin Walls
I love the fact that these apartments are family oriented! They host many events for the residence and the Hub that is adjacent to the office facilitates children activities. The only downside to this complex, is that the walls are pretty thin. Not ideal for a good night’s sleep when you can hear your neighbors from top, bottom, and side of you. Other than that the complex is fine.

Kinda sucked
So bad. I called and called for weeks, wrote emails... I was moving across the country and was ready to move in the day of but knew I still owed some money. I was desperately trying to reach them to confirm and pay. When I finally got there, they reacted like, "Yeah, show up and grab keys what's the big deal" It was a pretty terrible experience.
