Affordable
Very close to the hospital. Old, but comfortable. Inexpensive for the location, definitely a good deal

Chateau Royale
Overall, they’re pretty good! It’s helpful to be really close to the hospital/HSC, especially in the winter if you don’t have a car with AWD/4WD. They were really accommodating and even let me move in early because the standard move-in date was after the start of med school classes. The nicer one bedroom apartments start around $850, but they also have smaller ones and studios for a lot less. I’m currently paying $650/month for a 1 bedroom with furniture, and the water and electric bills are usually around $45 (combined) each month.

This is a great apartment complex within walking distance of Ruby/HSC. Location is great. The apartments are really nice. The office and maintenance are also very responsive.

Chateau Review
Good location to the hospital and football games. Free parking. Clean apartment that is spacious. Love that it has a large bathroom with a double vanity. Amenities are slightly outdated but appropriated for price point. Free parking onsite. Maintenance is extremely responsive and helpful.

Great for the price
Great price and great location. Maintenance always very quick to fix any issues. Not the absolute highest quality but very worth the price.

Do not live here
Would not recommend living here. You will not see your security deposit again. No matter how good of condition you leave it or move out early to get the free carpet cleaning, they will find a way to take your security deposit. The apartments are old and cheap, and do not come move in ready. Multiple car break ins.

Much better options in Morgantown.
I found this place online before moving to Morgantown. It looked online as if there were not many rentals available. There are many options, you just have to go beyond Apartments.com.
Apartment and management were terrible. The entire apartment was full of mold mildew. The air conditioner had so much mold in it I could not even run the A/C unit without it smelling like a stagnant pond. The bathroom ceiling leaked water down onto the floor and sink every time the person above me showered. It look them over two months and 5 visits to get this fixed. The carpet was the worst part. If you touched the carpet with your hand, you hand smelled like nasty B/O, probably from years of dogs, mold and mildew. I even paid for the carpet to be professionally cleaned and it didn't do a thing. Last, management will nickel and dime you through the lease agreement to drain your security deposit when you move out. As a part of the lease agreement security deposit charges, they charged for everything from light bulbs to the cleaning fee for the next tenant.
There are way cheaper, better, cleaner options all over this side of Morgantown that offer much better value than this dump. Don't live here unless you want to become great friends with someone at the health department.

No complaints!
I have lived in the 918 building for almost 2 years now and I have had no issues with management or even my neighbors. Lots of people who live here either work at Ruby Hospital or are students in the Law School, both locations are very walkable from here. Maintenance can take a while to respond, but they are helpful and friendly. People who live here are nice but everyone keeps to themselves, few undergraduate students so most are either graduate students or have full-time jobs so average age is probably 22-25.
Compared with other buildings in the complex 918 is by far the 'prettiest', safest-feeling, and modern apartment they have available. The "letter" buildings are old, probably late-90s and just look worse both inside and out, although they are a tad cheaper and probably better than lots of other apartments in Morgantown.
Parking is very good, pool is nice, gym is fine - rent does not include utilities.
