Cambridge Apartments

It has been a great one for my family and I. It is among the economical apartments any student can afford. The leasing office handles all maintenance, and they respond quickly to any request made. The company that runs this apartment complex have other properties for lease around the neighborhood. They will also get something that works for you. The apartment is on the LSU school bus and Capital Area Transit System routes. It is also close to some neighborhood store, where stuffs can be bought in meeting urgent needs without going to Walmart and other big retail stores. There is presence of nightlife in the area where the complex is as there a couple of bars around for entertainment. Lastly, there are benefits for lease renewal and referrals.

It's a gated community. There is a pool also. It's on the Tiger Trail bus route and on city bus service route no 18. There are two marts nearby where you can get basic necessities. The locality isn't that safe. I heard gunshots few times.

Never sign up for this apartment. The management is terrible. They never ever fix any issue on time. I had water leaking through the ceiling in my bedroom in 2 months after I moved in. I had to go to their office and call them every single to request them to fix my room and they took more than one month to do that. After all the hassle that I had to go through, they still made me half the rent. There are a lot of issues with bathroom too, and they never came and fixed them on time. On top of that these apartments have roaches everywhere. In management, there is a woman. She is extremely extremely rude. Long story short, never ever sign up for these apartments, unless you want to be frustrated and annoyed by their behavior in the middle of your busy schedule.

It is doable

The apartment I live in is fine. The administration isn't as responsive with maintenance issues as I would like them to be, but when they eventually get around to doing it, I haven't had reason to complain. The real issue though is the area Tigerland is not the safest neighborhood. Walking by yourself is not recommended.
