River House Apartments

I have had great experiences in this apartment from every interaction with those who run the complex.

I have honestly had nothing but a great experience. I first lived in the smallest 1 bedroom and paid $1149 then moved to a 1 bedroom with a larger living room and on the ground level with a patio so my rent obviously increased which then I was paying $1369. The leasing staff Joey, Justice, & Crystal and so personable and helpful. They are always there to answer questions or help with whatever. The maintenance staff and woman who cleans are all so kind and helpful. They are prompt with fixing anything needed. We have a pool and a gym as well as a nice common space. The only downside is that the common space closes when the leasing office closes. There are at least one if not 2 courtesy officers who live in the complex if there is ever an emergency or concern. The only real inconveniences are that sometimes one of the gates is broken (but one is always operating) and that the delivery drivers are sometimes too lazy to drop off packages if the leasing office isn’t open and you have to wait until the next day but other than that, I love it here! Also, we do have a problem with people not picking up their dog poop which is super annoying but it’s being worked on. I also love being so close to the river path that I can easily do daily walks with my dog. Only a 2 mile drive to campus (I have walked home from football games before). Would highly recommend!

The staff currently employed with RiverHouse is inadequate to say the least.

Based upon the price of the apartment, it is only average. The apartment is more luxury than basic. However, $1289 for a one bedroom is quite expensive and should entail proper accommodations according to that price. There are no big issues. For a student living alone, this is a sufficient apartment overall. I would recommend only for a single student.

My favorite things about living here were the new, clean atmosphere, the floorplan options, and the wonderful and accommodating management. My main issue living here is the occasional bug I had to take care of, which isn't that big of a deal. Construction is also currently happening next to our apartment, which is pretty noisy. The apartment is a 5-10 minute drive from campus; it is definitely not walkable, which could be an issue for game days.
