Comfortable For Some
My experience has been consistently positive in terms of amenities and living conditions while at Ducks Village. I have lived there throughout my time in law school and have experienced little issues. I must also qualify that my apartment was renovated and refurbished shortly after I began living and not all apartments are as modern as mine. Living a straight shot through Alton Baker park allowed for easy bike riding to campus, as well as the readily available 79x bus line adding to the convenience for students. The big issue with the apartment is the location pulling it away from most readily available food options. Aside from a small convenience store and bar, there are no nearby food options. It is recommended that you have a mode of transportation if you wish to live in this area such that you can overcome the distance issue from food.

Quiet and convenient
This apartment is quiet, I haven’t really had problems with neighbors like I have in the past, leaf blowers are annoying though lol. It’s also close to a grocery store, but you will need a car of bike to get to class. Management is a little slow to get things done though, which is why I would give it a lower review. I have had to go in and remind them of things a few times before.

Okay
Management isn't great and things break easily but they're quick to fix it.

you get what you pay for
we've had rats, theft, crazy people outside of our windows, and tons of noise from the busy road. Management has been mostly responsive, but not accountable for all of the problems we've experienced.

Nice but expensive
Most neighbors are very nice and courteous. Office people are friendly and helpful. Maintenance is prompt. They keep up on grounds maintenance which is good, but often noisy. Multiple laundry facilities. Haven't been able to use the pool, spa, or gym because of Covid. Apartment is nice and well-kept, but what they call a renovation, I call a facelift. The most closet space I've ever seen in a small apartment. Very walkable neighborhood (2 grocery stores, 3 pharmacies, several restaurants, bus stops, etc.). Overpriced, but all of Eugene is.
