Great if you don't mind living near undergraduates.
Park West is great because it is close to the Bush School (you can walk from there). If you don't have a car, there is a full grocery store on the property called Brookshire Brothers. As a resident, you get access to all 3 on-site gyms and swimming pools. There are a lot of study rooms in case you don't want to be on campus. There is also a mini-mart on site and a coffee shop. There are also 4 bus routes that all lead to main campus. The only thing is that sometimes, it can get rowdy. This is because the spot is very attractive to undergraduates, particularly freshmen and sophomores. It's not an everyday thing but occasionally, it will happen. There is a security guard on night watch though and since we are technically on A&M property, A&M police can come in case of a noise complaint.

Decent but not the greatest
I've described Park West as "poop" covered in gold. The good: it has a lot of amenities such as a pool, hot tub, plenty of study rooms, ample parking, all utilities are included (convenient). Theres also the little Brookshire Brothers store at the bottom floor which is cool. But its very loud -- the walls are paper thin. I constantly get woken up by my roommates leaving (door slams), getting ice (can hear practically anything happening in the kitchen), and if a car alarm goes off you will definitely hear it. For some the benefits may outweigh the costs. Depends on your exact unit location, your roommates, how much you would utilize the amenities, etc, to make it worthwhile. I do not plan on returning next year.

If you like saving money, don’t live here
The amenities are nice and the location is great, but management is very strict, there is very little guest parking, and rent is exorbitantly expensive.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you can find something cheaper. Unfortunately one bedrooms aren’t in high supply. If you get roommates, Park West becomes more worth it

Great Value
You get access to a lot of amenities including a grocery store/gas station/bar that is within walking distance. Plus it's a five-minute drive to the school. You can walk there or take the bus if you don't have transportation. I think you get a really good deal for the price. I highly recommend living here. The only downside is that the guest parking is terrible, there aren't always a lot of available spots and they tow pretty heavily over here so you'll have to take that into consideration if you like hosting.

Eh
Nice amenities. Nice location. Far too expensive and management is very unhelpful. Don’t recommend unless you absolutely have to.

Depends on building unit you select
Park West is a very large complex with many amenities, but has a lot of undergraduate students and is not always a quiet place to study or work depending on which building you live in. The Flats apartments are the quietest and are more distant from the Tower building, which is the loudest. Parking can be difficult to find as there are not enough spaces. This would be a good place for someone without transportation to live because it is so close to campus.

Park West Review
Apartment isn't terrible but the rent ($650 per person) is WAY too high for the quality

Great Value
The apartment is a five-minute drive from the Bush school. It's fully furnished and is a great value for the price. The only downside is that it feels a bit like a dorm. But other then that its great!
