Good living situation
Graduate apartments are a great solution for housing. I feel safe and the properties are clean. Maintenance responds quickly. Apartments are relatively close to campus. Price is reasonable for Westwood.

Very Good
Proximity to campus and amenities is perfect. Love being able to walk to work. The apartment is a little worn down, but definitely liveable. Would absolutely recommend to UCLA students looking to find cheap housing near campus that offers a strong community.

Olive Court Review
Secure place, 20min from campus just not an area i feel culturally relevant to live in as a Chicanx from the borderlands.
Community is lacking
Rent is expensive
Walls are thin

It's Student Housing
The apartment itself is fine. It's a little studio apartment with a good sized bathroom.
The kitchenette is small but has a lot of storage space.
The apartment come furnished, but the furniture isn't the best (the couch in particular is uncomfortable and ugly). There is no room to add any furniture which means I don't have a table to eat at. I have to eat at my desk or on my bed. It's annoying, and when I have anyone over we have to eat on my coffee table. The bed is large and comfortable though and there is a lot of space underneath for storage.
There are gates with key cards to get into the interior courtyards of the building and this does make me feel safe.
The building itself has a lot of problems with noise. The front door seems to let in noise and air and a conversation just outside is so clear it sounds like the door isn't there. There are stairs outside my apartment and I can hear it very clearly every time they are used, at all times of the day. There must be almost no insulation between the ceiling and floor above because I can hear every step that they make and had to actually talk to my neighbors about it because it was routinely waking me up. It obviously wasn't their fault, but it is frustrating that these rooms are not quieter. I can even hear the pets and squeaky furniture of apartments that are not even adjacent to mine. Sound just carries like crazy, which is not good when you're trying to sleep or study.
Finally, UCLA isn't a great landlord. Parking isn't included but I have bought the separate parking pass, yet this year they closed the parking structure under the building. They didn't explain why and now it just sits empty while we have to park several buildings away. I have a disability and the added distance from my car is very difficult for me, but there was no appeals process and when I asked I was simply told that they wanted to close the parking structure. Also, when my AC broke this summer, I submitted a maintenance request and called the maintenance number but was told it would be days before they could fix it. With how hot it got in my apartment I was unable to sleep and had to miss classes. I understand that I may be more affected by this than others might be (due to my disability again) but I was frustrated by the lack of response from UCLA maintenance. The 4th time I called, someone said that they had portable units and offered to bring one out, and when I returned home the AC was fixed. I just wish someone had listened to me on an earlier call and offered the portable unit or come by sooner.
I will have lived here for 3 years by the time I graduate. The location is unbeatable due to it's proximity to the campus and to the bus to campus. For my grumblings about my experience here, I do think that it would be a great housing option for most people. Just don't expect much from a faceless organization as your landlord, who has a billion phone numbers to call when something goes wrong but nobody on the other end can really do much.

Studio at Weyburn
Great place, fast connection and good location. I would only try to avoid, if possible, being on the ground floor (I personally do not like because everyone can see inside my house)
