Great cheap apartment
Very nice place with great landlords. Older building so there is no dishwasher or laundry. Great location right next to little italy and within walking distance of cwru.

Great landlords and sun-filled apartment close to campus
A unit is available in my building (2034 Fairview Avenue, in Little Italy): 2 bed/1 bath. It’s spacious, well located (close to UH, CCF, RTA, University Circle, world class fine arts), historic and full of natural light, including in the winter. Features include: a front porch; large eat-in kitchen with lots of cabinetry; hardwood floors throughout and rent includes heat. New windows are being installed currently, which will improve insulation. Call: 216-229-5555 or 216-374-4368 to view and for pricing details.

I've lived her forever and it feels like family
I love living here and have done so for 8 years. I enjoy my landlords. I think anyone else moving here would need to work to ensure they had a good relationship with them, to make the most of the property.

A sunny apartment, close to Case Med
My apartment is a 6-8 minute, flat (no hills) walk to campus. The apartment manager is a brother/sister team and they are respectful and professional people. They prefer quiet tenants, so don't expect to throw parties here. They allow some small pets, but larger dogs will likely be a problem. They also live in the property, so be aware that you may be living right next to your landlord. I have been living there for almost 6 years, now (MD/PhD) student and I love it. The apartment was build in the 1940s, so there are creeks and older items, but everything is functional. Importantly, landlord pays for the heat. The apartment is very sunny and spacious and a good deal. The only downside is that you have to use a laundry mat (about 2 blocks away). There are 4 closets, so enough space, but not for long term storage, for most.

Little Italy Gem
My apartment is one of 6 in a converted house on a one way street. Around the corner is instant access to the restaurants and bars of Little Italy, but the one way street keeps things quiet for the most part. The landlord and lady are nice and keep up the apartment relatively well, though the house is from the 1940s, so you can't expect too much. It's definitely a nice house for what the rent is. Small pets may be negotiable, but dogs are probably a no go. You'd have to work it out with the owners. The only major setback in this apartment is that there is no washer and dryer, so you have to walk a block to the laundromat, which isn't too bad.
