Decent value, good location

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience so far at The LaSalle. Management and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly, the building is clean and secure, and the units are all recently renovated and in good shape. We've had a few maintenance issues since I moved in (broken elevator, key cards not working, plumbing issues), but they are quick to try and get them fixed.

Nice Downtown South Bend Building

Nice, remodeled historic hotel in a central downtown location. Barebones amenities but there is a bar and cafe on the first floor. The cafe offers great deals for residents and delivers within the building for free. Management is pretty lowkey but maintains upkeep well. the building is a 5 minute drive from campus and close to a ton of restaurants. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants an apartment that is just as nice (or nicer) than the Foundry but at a more reasonable price. It’s also more affordable for students who have pets.
