All the Best I Could Afford
Seems no better option given the price. Though renting soars these years and Passy not as economical as it was several years ago, it still serves my basic needs. Mere wish that renting won't increase but could go down a little bit...

More bright light bulb
The room is really dark at night, and I have to purchase two extra lamps with 4 more bulbs to make it brighter.

A lot of Updates Needed
Apartment is falling apart almost every other week. The sink in the bathroom keeps leaking, even after a maintenance request was put in. The heating/AC controls when seasons are changing are horrible, rooms are either freezing or extremely hot. The wifi disconnects every 5 seconds (no joke).

Experience in Apartment
It's a solid apartment for the price. I like the location's proximity to school. It's not fancy but meets my needs. It looks quite old in a lot of ways.

Great price and location
Great price. Many maintenance issues due to age of property but maintenance is responsive. Almost no natural light.

Passy - Osgoode Chambers Review
I would rate the property a 7/10 overall. The studio is very spacious and includes a large closet. As it is furnished, I found that my furniture was quite worn with many scratches. However, that is fine as the furniture is generally functional. The air conditioning in the unit does not work however the stove and oven are fine. The shower has good water pressure. My biggest complaint is that when I first arrived in the room it was still quite dirty with small curly hairs on the mattress, spills on the stove top, and a very dirty carpeted floor.

Very convenient for law students
3 minute walk from the law building. Cannot find a more convenient location. Lots of other law students in the same building so friends are always nearby. Very reasonably priced. The only complaint is the a/c does not always work. But I can look past that for all the other positives.

Passy
It has enough space (bachelor but mine is larger because it's at the end of the hallway), updated kitchen (again, I was lucky - many bachelor units do not have this) and extra windows because I'm at the end of the hall

Needs an update
The apartments need to be updated/upkept. When I moved in, there were holes in the walls, the shower head was broken, the thermostat in every apartment does not work (and instead, we are instructed to turn the breaker on/off to control the the heat and A/C, which can have consequences in the winter), and the oven was broken. Lights are very dim and don't always turn on, seems to be an issue with electricity rather than the bulb. When I moved in, flies were inside of my light. The only thing that makes living here worth it is proximity to school and the community. Otherwise, it seems optimal to live in the Quad. It's not even particularly close to the subway/transit, roughly a 15 minute walk.

Actually really good for student living
Overall it's actually good student living wise but maintenance takes a loooong time to respond. Other things:
- This unit has hardwood floors
- The kitchen is on the smaller side but adding a shelf/kitchen island will help
- laundry is outside the unit
-2k for a 2 bedroom is unheard of in Toronto
