Great neighborhood! everything is super close by!
LOVE that I can walk to HEB. There are some fun restaurants in walking distance, close to bus stops if needed, pretty close to 610, 59, and I-10. Safe towards San Felipe... not super safe towards 59 at night (also might be because I'm a girl not to be sexist).
Walk the pups daily. Lots of traffic though.
Good places to eat, not a ton to do.
A lot of the apartment complexes and houses around this neighborhood are very expensive, but there are affordable options if you really look. There are a lot of great stores and restaurants that I walk to, but if I'm going to a bar to hang out with friends, I typically go to midtown or the heights. There isn't a great running trail or big park right in the neighborhood, but it's pretty close to a lot of great places for outdoor activities.
Very safe. 15 minute drive to school during non rush hour, 20-30 minutes during rush hour.
This is one of the nicest areas in Houston. It is great being able to live here for such a low amount of money.
