Good Overall but Strict and Sometimes Ridiculous Rules

My apartment itself is pretty nice and spacious for the price and location. It's generally quite quiet aside from the drunk undergraduate students who yell from the street and sidewalk outside. It can get quite hot in the summer due to the windows not opening very much and the only air conditioning being a window unit. The electric bill in the summer is about triple what it is in the winter due to the basically mandatory use of air conditioning. The management has some pretty strict and sometimes stupid rules that are very strictly enforced. But although occasionally annoying, they typically don't effect me.

Practically Perfect

I absolutely love my one-bedroom apartment! As an older student, I wanted a "real" apartment - a big enough kitchen to actually cook in, enough closet space to actually store my belongings, and room for a guest bed. Asbury Place Condos has all of that. The living area has a huge front window with lots of natural light (perfect for plants), my apartment had hardwood floors (although not every unit has that), and the property manager lives on site if you have any trouble.

The one-bedroom apartment is a little expensive ($1250/month) but that's pretty competitive with other apartments I looked at. That also includes a reserved parking space, so I saved a lot of money not having to buy a separate parking pass from the school.

The apartment complex is well-lit, requires a key to enter the building itself, and is next door to the Ritchie Center and Sturm College of Law, so it feels very safe.

The only downsides of the apartment: the noise. The apartment itself is very quiet (old building, thick walls) but its proximity to DU, the Crimson & Gold Bar, and the interstate means that you will hear people drunkenly yelling at each other and cars screeching and honking late into the night, every night. Although it's really annoying, it seems like a small price to pay for an otherwise perfect apartment.

If you're looking for a no-frills, spacious apartment to study for school or work from home, I'd highly recommend Asbury Place Condos.

Good Price, Decent Living

The place is pretty decent for the price. Some minimal problems with hot water at times and we've had a few small problems in the apartment. Overall, its worth the price considering the location across the street from the law school.

Affordable and cosy, but management isn't great

The apartment itself is very cosy, but there is very little kitchen storage space, and there are many rules that seem extremely unnecessary. Each unit is a condo, so the landlords vary, but property management is too strict in my opinion.
