20 and Grand is amazing!
I absolutely love 20 and Grand! This is my fourth year of living here. The management truly could not be better- they are so kind and any maintenance is always completed in a day. The space is amazing- I love how large the apartment is. It is a very close walk to campus, less than 10 minutes, and very safe.

amazing location, great folks in the office
Twenty and Grand is a nice, though not extravagant, apartment complex. The location is pretty amazing, situated right on 21st street next door to the chipotle, Starbucks, Panera, CAVA, dunkin donuts, ice cream shops, and more. It's about a 10 minute walk to the school of medicine and directly across from the business school. The office management people are so kind and really go above and beyond for their residents! It is very secure and safe as well and great for pets.

Space
Love the size of my space and proximity to school and entertainment. It is so convenient to walk anywhere. The building is nicely renovated and affordable, especially for the area. There are not many building amenities but the management is great.

A quiet, wholesome community for Vanderbilt students
Most apartment complexes in downtown Nashville area are expensive and impersonal, but Twenty and Grand is far from either. Not only are the apartments here nicely constructed and reasonably priced, the property and facilities managers are cordial, understanding people who are almost always present in the building. Additionally, the building is in a prime location: it's a four minute walk north to Vanderbilt's law school and business school and is flanked on the west by Chipotle, Dunkin', Starbucks, and Panera. Most residents are Vanderbilt students, so there isn't a great deal of noise here either.

Twenty & Grand
I’m lucky to have had a connection to Twenty & Grand through my brother who knows Shannon, the community manager. She and the rest of the staff are incredibly kind, transparent, and accommodating—truly some of the best out there. It is a fairly quiet building in terms of neighbor noise. Rooms are spacious.
Some things to note are that the building is a bit old (doors are operated with normal keys and need to be physically closed and locked) and there is no freight elevator for large deliveries (like furniture), so thorough understanding of dimensions of spaces and entryways is recommended for furnishing. The kitchen and cabinet sizes are also small despite being a 2BR apartment. Deliveries for perishables past office hours may be difficult because the building gets locked to those without access. There is no grocery store very close by.
Nonetheless, I really like my apartment building and its team. I feel safe going home. The walk to class is also short and the location is very convenient, being near a lot of places to eat and a CVS, among others.

Not recommending
The whole apartment is old and stinky. It needs some serious renovation and repair. There were also lots of noise becuase of the constrution of Owen School. The only good thing about it is its proximity to campus.
