I managed, but I wouldn’t recommend.
My actual apartment is nice inside, and that is best thing I can say. It’s moderately updated and for a law student living alone it’s decent. BUT I’ve had three personal instances of theft and crime in the parking garage. The housing team that I initially signed my lease with had almost all been replaced and I have had a slightly better experience since then plus it seems there’s been fewer instances of car theft and break ins. The gym equipment downstairs has been broken or missing for months. So personally, it worked for me on a limited salary and budget but I will be moving post graduation

Affordable living close to campus
The unit is very spacious. Lots of windows for natural lighting. On site gym is clean with plenty of equipment. Lobby area is great for studying with free printing and free Wifi. Maintenance is very fast at fixing any problems when reported.

Close to UH
Location was very important to me since I was new to Houston. The apartment is about 10 minutes from UH. There aren't many restaurants or other distractions nearby but it is extremely close to everything (downtown, medical center, rice village). The apartments are well maintained and management is responsive when called.
