Good Enough
Probably one of the best places a student can live in Houston honestly. It ain't perfect, but no where is unless you're rich. I've only had my car broken into once in my three years here despite all the gates, which is pretty good for the area. Maintenance is great. Community/neighbors are as well behaved as a busy student can ask for, other than the fact that nobody but myself picks up after their dogs. Management is okay, but they constantly find new ways to suck money out of you. For instance, they will fine you if you leave your trash out an hour early before the scheduled window of time or if you have a bird feeder on your balcony. Their electrical utility program is a rip-off. They also increase rent by the maximum amount of 10% every year without fail for tenants; it's like they're trying to push out their residents after their first contract. "Pet rent" is also ridiculous. I'm nitpicking at this point, but it would also be nice if there were less rats but they're a problem everywhere -at least here the stray cats help keep it from getting out of hand.
Overall though it ain't bad and I'll probably renew the lease anyway until I graduate, porch piracy is unheard of here at least and it's more safe than other nearby communities. Also the community gym is kinda nice.
