Great Property
I personally love this property. Coming to Minneapolis, housing is a lot more expensive than I'm used to. But, the Hub is definitely the most bang for your buck. The staff is super interactive and personable, the amenities and very nice and accessible, and the location in comparison to the UMN campus is unbeatable!

Too expensive - but very convenient in terms of location. Great amenities and security

Great place with one major problem!
Amazing location, great amenities, safe building and very modern apartments. However, my biggest problem is the noise and thin walls. Basically, if you have good and respectful neighbors, it will be a great place to live; however, if your neighbors like to party and make noise, it will terrible for you because the walls do a very bad job of stopping noise. Additionally, this complex is on the more expensive side of apartments; therefore, I would expect to have great sound insulation for the price that I am paying.

Great but...
I'm living at the Hub in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic. The study rooms have been a life saver with no libraries to use. The internet has also held up very well despite hundreds of people using it for zoom at once. The apartments are nice, in unit washer and dryer is nice. And it isn't all that absurdly priced.
The downside is management has decided on some ridiculously arbitrary hours for amenity spaces. The outdoor hot tub and grill area for example close between 5 or 6 PM every day. Not sure why 6PM is too dangerous to use the pool and make food but 4PM isn't, but whatever. Regardless, I would like to be able to use the amenities I pay for for more than 20 minutes after I get back from classes.
The gym initially also had very limited hours (the result? I and many others went to other gyms and increased the likelyhood we came into contact with Covid and brought it back to the complex. Moronic is the kindest way to describe their thought process here). The restricted amenity hours is the sole reason I'm not currently planning on resigning my lease.

Hub Minneapolis
Its a beautiful apartment at a very convenient location. It is only a few steps away from East Bank light rail station which is a stop away from West Bank. The apartment is fully furnished and in a building which is only two years old.

Perfect apartment on campus as long as you have sufficient funds
The apartment is nearly perfect. If you live on the higher stories, the view is stunning. Some units have a 60-inch TV which is awesome. The amenities are great especially in the kitchen, basically fulfilling all my needs in terms of cooking. The location is amazing: 30 seconds walk from the east-bank station of Metro Green Line. You can get free starbucks coffee in the club room. The gym is one of the better ones I can assure. It's very quiet as well except in the circumstances where your neighbor is throwing a party or something.
There are a couple of things that I don't like. My biggest upset is the bed. It is literally one of the smallest that I've been on in my whole life. It's OK for one person, but if you're thinking about sleeping with another person you'd better be prepared for an uncozy night. The bedroom is unreasonably small as well, barely fitting in a small bed and a small bedside table. The living room is quite large though. Also it takes like 3 hours for the maintenance team to respond to your emergency, no matter how urgent you emphasize it to be.
Of course all of these are based on your money. My unit is a 1b1b which costs about 1700 bucks a month including the utilities. It's not cheap, but I would say it's quite a deal because I've seen apartments here that cost even more but are not as good as Hub. Anyways, it's a good apartment and I'm thinking about living for another year. I think that means something.
