Meridian at Grandview

The location is wonderful, very safe, and with new outdoor renovations underway on the property as of this year (2024). The apartments themselves are also very spacious and with lots of sunlight. There has been issues at times with management on inconsistency in payment requests and issues with receiving aid in time for services requested. However, overall nice and quiet area, very close to grocery stores and food spots.

Overall, a solid apartment to live in. Maintenace is usually quick to fix any problems. Gym and parking within the complex. Also, 2 pools open during the summer.

Solid place to live, great location, price is okay

The Meridian at Grandview is a great place to live. This is true in no small part due to the great location. Walking to get groceries is a dream. And being so close to campus and a multitude of bus routes puts a variety of opportunities in reach. Living in Grandview is great. The apartments themselves are good, and the staff are amazing. But the real winner here is the location. Overall, I would say that I am very satisfied with our living situation.

The current ownership of Meridian are in the process of doing a lot of construction around the complex which can get annoying at times. It is definitely an old complex but has a lot of space in each unit. I've lived here for 4 years and my experience has been average. Multiple issues have arose but I will say that these are always dealt with swiftly by management. It is also affordable for an initial lease (I think my initial lease was 1700 for a 2 bed 2 bath).

The apartments themselves are fairly nice. Most things work well, in unit laundry, and reliable appliances. Windows are paper thin and definitely feel noticeably hotter or colder than the rest of the apartment. New management company took over recently and are trying to give the Meridian a refresh, although they don't seem to be doing that well of a job. The gym has some basic equipment, but is somewhat small considering the size of the complex. Parking is convenient (although they now charge a monthly parking fee).
