Wonderful neighbors and community vibe - a rare gem on First Hill
From the moment I viewed my current apartment, I knew I would love living here. The building manager, Helen is simply amazing--friendly, responsive, takes the time to cultivate personal relationships with each and every tenant. The maintenance and cleaning personnel are also extraordinary, and go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of and you are happy. Together, they create a warm, inviting building atmosphere. There is a strong sense of community here. I know all my neighbors and, on warm nights, everyone gathers spontaneously in the beautiful and nicely appointed inner courtyard for a drink, some bbq on the grill, and maybe a board game or too. It's about a mile to any major super market, and a decent walk to Capitol Hill or downtown. Driving wise, it's just off the five.
