Hayes House
Nothing fancy- it’s an old building and does not have modern appliances or super updated amenities. However it is cheaper than most places around and still has a pool, a small gym, and a nice outdoor space. The apartment is big and in a great location close to the hospital.

Solid place
Overall I like the place. Sometimes maintenance annoys me but overall nice. I like the location and the shower the most

Great location, pretty good amenities
Hayes house is a really great location for getting to school and is in Hillsboro Village, which is a very cute neighborhood to live in. It has a pool, a small gym, and parking, but is cheaper than other more luxury-style apartments. The building is a bit old but other than that it’s a great option!

Hayes House
The apartment is very spacious! The complex has a pool, covered and gated parking, gym, and a business center. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the medical center, straight down 21st avenue.

It's very expensive but a great place to live. They provide excellent amenities including a gym, pool, grills, and free coffee every day.

Charming place with great amenities. It is older, so anticipate some maintenance issues. Maintenance is responsive but there’s only one guy for the whole complex. Leasing staff/landlord is very responsive. Overall positive experience. Close to campus!

Convenient location close to campus.
I lived at Hayes House for two years while completing my Master’s degree. The location is close to Kroger and about a 15 minute walk to Vanderbilt campus. Management was friendly and responsive. Overall great experience.

This apartment building is super charming and comfortable. Their business center has free coffee. The management is really nice and helpful. The property does have some security issues but they have acted swiftly to add extra measures. I did get a discounted rate due to having no laundry hookups, lower ceilings, and no hardwood floors. There is a covered and secure parking garage which is really nice. It is an older building so there are some cracks here and there but nothing too big if you don’t mind a little character. The front yard of my building was a big sell for me, lots of nature. Neighbors are mostly pretty quiet although I can only speak for my building. There’s a lot of young couples and some families. Overall, great place to be for college if you are looking for closeness to campus and restaurants in walking distance, trees, quietness, and charm.

Hillsboro Westend Reviews
It does not feel safe 100% of the time (mostly late at night), but for the most part it feels friendly and safe. I say this because in three years I have been here, we have had someone break into my car as well as someone try to get into our apartment. These may be random, isolated incidents, and is probably 'safe' relative to most big city/urban areas!
