Great location within walking distance of Belmont, Hillsboro Village, 12 South, and Kroger. Apartment has in unit laundry, pet friendly, parking garage, pool, and fitness center. Electric and WiFi are paid separately.

Hayes House

Great location and amenities and many units. Management isn't always on top of things but issues are usually fixed within 3 days. Poorly managed package system.

Nice, walkable apt, but tour before renting!!

My roommate and I signed our lease sight unseen, as we didn't have a chance to visit Nashville for a housing search. Our "updated, vintage" unit was old, gross, and ended up having water damage. Therefore, we moved into a newer unit in the same building, and we love it! There is a HUGE difference in units at Hayes House, so make sure to tour the exact one that you're considering. The new management is much friendlier and more helpful. They even organize some events like mimosa brunch or s'mores. Maintenance requests are fulfilled within a day or two. This complex is pricier than others located further from campus, but I love being a 10-15 min walk from school and having a gym in the building.

I am obsessed with this neighborhood. I love easy access to the shops on 21st ave (Fido's, Jeni's, Hopdoddy, now a Crumbl cookies!!!). I am also a runner and love the surrounding neighborhoods I explore on my running routes through this neighborhood- many of which are cute houses with families, Belmont area if you want a walk around their beautiful campus and surrounding areas. Overall very pleased with this neighborhood.

It does not feel safe 100% of the time (mostly late at night), but for the most part it feels friendly and safe. I say this because in three years I have been here, we have had someone break into my car as well as someone try to get into our apartment. These may be random, isolated incidents, and is probably 'safe' relative to most big city/urban areas!

The Hillsboro Westend location has been great for my time in the program thus far! I am able to walk to a bus stop about 10-15 minutes away so that I do not need a yearly parking pass (I pay for daily parking if I need it on a clinical day!). This location is right next to the highway, multiple grocery stores, and 21st Street where there are lots of fun restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend this area!

Great neighborhood with lots of families. Very safe to walk/run in. People are always walking dogs or out and about early in the morning through the evening. About a block from Elmington park which has events such as movies in the park and food trucks all summer. A beautiful and safe neighborhood about 3 miles from downtown and 1 mile from Vanderbilt.

Hillsboro Village has a cute downtown with some good coffee shops and stores. I love being able to walk 5 min from my apt to restaurants because parking can be tricky. That said, I do hear a lot of traffic since my bedroom window faces 21st Ave S.

Love the neighborhood after four years here! Great area to run around Vandy and Belmont, near a park with tennis courts, easy walk to Vandy, lots of local restaurants and coffee shops and such.

I've always felt safe walking home from the hospital at all hours of the day/night. Plenty of restaurants/coffee shops/bars within walking distance; nice neighborhoods for running as well.

Super close to 21st near lots of restaurants, shops, and bars. I feel safe walking around late at night as a woman. Also walking distance to VUMC is great- don't have to pay for parking.

Great proximity to school! There are also lots of restaurants and boutiques - on the weekends and Friday afternoons there is a lot of great energy and buzz in the neighborhood.
