Great area, not that close to campus

I live in downtown Miami but very close to the Brickell area. The location is super walkable with restaurants, bars, and groceries all super close. The only downside is that it isn't super close to campus but it usually doesn't take more than 25 minutes to get to campus and I really like having the seperation.

Great location, not affordable for students

Pros:
- Amenities and study areas are wonderful.
- Plenty of parking for residents.
- Located close to Metromover, Metrorail, i-95 entrance that takes you straight to the medical campus.
- Living right above a WholeFoods is the cherry on top.

Cons:
- Rent is very high
- Guest parking is $10/hr to park in the garage - up to $40 max
- High-traffic area (loud cars at all hours), bridge traffic, congestion
- Balcony gets dirty from air pollution

Live somewhere else.

For the price you don’t get a lot and there are a lot of air BnBs on the property. This makes the place feel less secure and always seeing a new person. The management doesn’t allow this but continues to operate with the Air BnBs.
