Beautiful Location, Tight Parking
I’ve lived in this apartment for 2 years and love looking out my window every morning at the hill country. The view is definitely the selling point of this complex. The newish management team (which has been here for less than 6 months) is very accommodating and much better than the previous team. The main issue with this place is the lack of parking. The previous management had a draconian parking policy (I had a rental car after a car wreck and was towed within 12 hours of parking with no help/reimbursement from the complex), and the new management is still figuring out their policy. It’s difficult to have friends over due to the lack of parking, so if you want to be a hub for get-togethers, definitely take that into consideration. Overall, I’ve enjoyed living here and would recommend it!

Great for Couples and Introverts
We've been living at Gables Grandview for nearly 2 years. While the complex definitely isn't downtown or near a lot of nightlife, the commute to downtown Austin is reasonable (< 20 minutes or < 35 minutes during rush hour). I've lived in Gables-owned complexes since I moved to Austin, and the service is top-notch. I've had very few complaints, and the complaints I've had are fixed promptly.
