Tree reviews and highlights
- great place to live for working professionals
- terrible construction
- safe community
- complex is in good condition
- they have a dog park, awesome pool, two barbecue areas with ping-pong, lawn bowling, etc
Amazing amenities, nice floor plans, great neighbors!
This is a great place to live for working professionals, outgoing people and those who like quietness. The management is great and its close to DT! There is a bar/restaurant in the building for HH. The pool and amenities are top notch! There is parking, a business center and the building hosts parties and events in summer.

Love living here
The Tree is an awesome community filled with young professionals. The worst part about living here are people speeding through the parking lot, but other than that it's a safe community. The pool is great in the summer and the complex doesn't have a weight restriction for dogs.

Great location! Great neighbors
Tree is a great place to live for working professionals and outgoing people. They have a dog park, awesome pool, 2 BBQ areas with Ping-pong, lawn bowling and the property group holds pool parties and events.
Porter restaurant is in the building so its nice to be able to walk for HH or a pre-game cocktail. The food is amazing.

Not worth it
For what you're paying, you think you would be treated a lot better-- bad managment, bad parking, terrible construction, etc etc.
The only nice thing is that it's one of the few apartments that I can afford in the area that isn't shabby. Probably will not renew lease.

Good experience!
I like tree. It has a lot of the typical stuff that comes with Austin mid-rises -- people don't pick up after dogs, drive too fast in the garage, can hear neighbors a bit, leasing staff not the brightest, not the best construction. But given that most of those things are standard for buildings in this city, I think tree is just a bit better. No real complaints.

Tree Apartments
nice place, but sometimes I feel like i'm living in auschwitz. The management has a ridiculous policy in place to where if anyone is doing anything against the lease, such as having your dog without a leash, neighbors can take pictures of you and send them in. This results in a fee that you have to pay, and gets credited to the person who took the picture's account! When this happens and you don't know who took the picture (like what happened to us), then you start resenting anyone you see in your complex, wondering if that was the person who ratted you out. It builds a hostile environment and is absolutely ridiculous. It turns everyone against each other.
amenities are decent, complex is in good condition. management needs to work out some kinks in their policies, and this place would be a good find. until then i'll continue to watch my back.

Best complex in the hippest zip code in Austin
Living at Tree is great in terms of location because you're so close to the city, but not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The complex is beautiful and surrounded by trees so it feels like you're in a quiet neighborhood, despite being so close to downtown. The 71 is only a couple of blocks away so commuting anywhere is a breeze. Some things to be alerted about: getting in and out of the complex can be such a headache... there are constantly people going in and out and you'd be surprised at the amount of inconsiderate people that just park right in the middle of the entrance driveway causing unnecessary cluster; the traffic light to drive out takes forever to turn green and when it does, only a few cars get to go; and many residents don't pick up after their dog droppings. All in all, living at Tree for our first year in Austin has been great and I highly recommend any first time movers to Austin to at least check this place out :)
