Very nice and comfortable

Doormen and staff are super friendly and say hi all the time. Maintenence is very responsive and fast. The building is very insulated, so I don’t even need ac/heater most of the time, though they work very well. My unit has in-unit laundry, which is a game changer. The gym is a little small, but it’s not usually a problem for me.

Great building and staff!

Highly recommend this building!
- perfect location for Feinberg students. Across the street from target, 1 block from Whole Foods, 7 minute walk to campus.
- friendly door staff and package room staff
- amenities: gym (4 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, a peloton-style bike, rowing machine, cable machine, lat pulldown machine, leg press machine, chest press machine, and lots of dumbbells), beautiful deck (tables/chairs, couches under a shaded area, and grills!), laundry room (although most units have in-unit laundry except for studios), dry cleaner/tailoring.

Main downside is that the elevators can be slow especially during rush hour.
Parking is $285/month.

Greatest view on Lake Michigan

You can enjoy a decent view on Lake Michigan from your room if you live in a room facing on east side. Also, a stop of UChicago shuttle is close to your apartment (about 30 second!)

Great value

If you are looking to buy / are in a financial position to, these are some of the most affordable condos near FSM (studios go ~170,000-200,000 -- mortgage somewhere in the 800-1000$ range) which are still rlly nice :)

Building is well-run and everyone is friendly. It's in a little bit quieter of a part of streeterville, though gets pretty busy around Navy Pier in the summer. The 1 bedrooms are pretty large. It's a condo building so you will rent from the unit owner.

Condo in Streeterville

Several med students, residents, and even attendings live in this building.
The walls are very noise-proof (I live next door to a family with small children and never hear them). Very family friendly, as many people own their units.
The views (especially on higher floors) are outstanding. I can see the navy pier fireworks from my unit.
Very convenient for accessing the lakefront trail.
Good parking in the building, costs $285/mo.
Gym is decent for a condo-- 4 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, some weight machines and free weights.

Large Studio w/ Full Size Kitchen

I have absolutely loved living here and feel like I found a hidden gem in Streeterville. I have rented here for all 4 years of medical school and would totally do it again. It was the largest studio that I toured and the biggest benefit is that it has an awesome, full size kitchen with granite countertops. The building itself is very clean, safe and well run. I really like renting from an individual condo owner as well and there is in-house maintenance. Lots of natural light. Overall highly recommend.

Excellent Condo

Very new and well managed. Friendly people. There's a very nice gym and laundry facility. Downside if hospitality room isn't always open, and there aren't as many social events for the community. It is in a great location though and the elevators are fast.

Great, quiet residence

I love it! The condo's are extremely large and have great insulation. The condo board is highly accomodating and open to suggestion. Great proximity for student or med people to the Northwestern Medical Hospital. Would highly suggest if you want a clean living area.

Perfect studio apartment with a great view!

I moved here this year when I got a job in the loop and got tired of commuting. These apartments are conveniently close to work, to the Magnificent Mile, and Navy Pier! I have a beautiful view of downtown. My studio is very spacious and has plenty of cabinet and closet space.

Streeterville Reviews

Perfect location for Feinberg, almost feels like a small slice of a college town because so many of your neighbors will be students, residents, nurses, etc at the hospital. You do get sirens fairly often depending on where you live since the emergency room is very close. The neighborhood doesn't have too many restaurants/bars but it is walking distance to River North and Gold Coast and the rest of the city is easily accessed by public transport. Much safer than most neighborhoods in Chicago.
Streeterville is a very nice neighborhood. There are plenty of parks and grocery stores. There is some late night crime due to the location downtown and close to the beach, but overall nothing worse than anywhere else.

There are some more expensive restaurants and fast food places. Navy Pier attracts a lot of tourists and they can be annoying to navigate around.
I enjoy living in Streeterville since it's near many of Chicago attractions without feeling overwhelming like in the Loop. I am able to walk around safely at night and I like going jogging in Millennium Park. My biggest complaint would be the lack of greenery in the area and how the city can feel a little bit insulating at times. Public transportation is great. This area is pricey, which is why I decided to have a roommate.
The Streeterville area was still pretty sleepy when I moved here three years ago. Since then, there has been an incredible amount of development. New luxury apartments and condos are going up, several new restaurants, a brand new target and Whole Foods. Its become a great place for professionals who enjoy living downtown, but without the club crowds in River North.
There are a few buses that are near by that help get residents down to the loop. Also it's pretty easy to walk around and the cross walks are pedestrian friendly. I'm always able to get around by foot and buses/trains. Streeterville is a very safe neighborhood and I've never felt unsafe walking around at night. The streets are well lit.
Noise is not usually too big of an issue in this neighborhood; it's pretty quiet at night.
There are multiple grocery stores nearby for multiple choices. Also there are a bunch of great places to eat so one will not get bored with options.
While on the expensive end in Chicago, streeterville is safe, has all the necessities (look for apts near grocery stores if you don't have a car!!), is super close to school (and most feinberg students so convenient for socializing), and is super close proximity to restaurants and bars.
This building is located in the center of everything you could possibly need. Whole foods and Jewel within walking distance, easy to get to the lake front, and plenty of good restaurants and bars. The only down side is that it does not really have a "neighborhoody" feel.
Love how close we are to the medical school, makes going to class really easy. A lot of students live in Streeterville so it is very easy to hangout with friends. There are also a few coffee shops in the neighborhood that are very fun to study at!
