Potomac Towers
My partner and I have lived here for 3 years. Rent prices vary depending on when you're looking (went as low as $1425 for 1Bedrooms during pandemic but starting to come back up, closer to $1900 now). They didn't raise our rent both times we renewed our lease, most likely because of pandemic, but that was really considerate of them. Modern kitchen with lots of counter space, big windows with windowsills for my cats to watch the birds, spacious living rooms. There is a decent gym, large pool, lounge area with gas grills, a rooftop with beautiful sunset views and lovely backyard park (including dog park). Maintenance staff is super quick to respond and very competent. Bike path is right here so easy 15 minute commute to Foggy Bottom for work (downhill going there, uphill coming back). 10 min walk from metro, lots of bus lines. Mom's organic grocery store is 1 block away, Trader Joes and Whole Foods are a 15-20 minutes walk. Tons of restaurants/cafes/bars around Courthouse metro or Clarendon (120 min walk).

Potomac Towers
Large building w/ lots of apartments but doesn't bother me! Apartments are great, they have new kitchen appliances, dishwasher, washer dryer in unit. 1 bedroom is plenty big. Lots of anemities like a park, grills, pool, gym, rooftop deck.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the metro, and it has a dog park! Also parking is very cheap which seems to be rare for this area.

Renovations are being made on areas of the building that didn't need renovating. The management company is trying to make the building more of a luxury apartment to raise rent without fixing serious mold/mildew issues. While we are having our kitchens redesigned/refurnished, there is still mold on the walls and in the AC unit of our second bedroom.
While there are other people our age, there isn't a great way to connect with them in the community, especially while our lounge is closed for renovations. The safety is pretty bad, because doors automatically open and sometimes get stuck open, allowing any passerby to walk in.

Okay I guess
Nice apartment. Overpriced, and they don't let you smoke inside (I do anyway though). Neighborhood is on the urban side, which sucks. 10 minute drive to campus.

Good enough, and reasonable price
I've been living there for a year and a half now. It's a nice building, and the cheapest I could find, with good amenities. The whole building is under renovations at the moment, which is annoying - and my rent will likely go up - but its a reasonably large apartment (800 sq ft), with a pool, gym, club room, and grocery store on the premises. Soon, it will also have a "yoga" room - and all of the above are currently under renovations.

Great commuter spot, whether you commute East or West
The location is perfect for commuters. 0.5 miles to the Court House Metro station, which is about a ~10 minute walk. It's also about a 20 minute walk to Georgetown. Location is close to 66 and GW Parkway, so commuters in all directions are in luck.
Apartment itself isn't overly luxurious, but it has all of the basics and a nice open floor plan. It is definitely an older building, but it has been fixed up nicely.

Good location, good price
I highly recommend that students look in Arlington. Often you can find a much better value than in Georgetown and the GUTS bus makes a lot of places convenient.
This building is a good value with free parking, a pool, roof deck with awesome views of DC, and a mediocre gym. The units are in good shape and management is very responsive. I liver here all 4 years and have been very happy with it. I even convinced 2 friends to move in and they have all been happy.

Average experience
Overall, I don't have any huge complaints. The experience has been fine, and the building is pretty quiet.

Lyon Village Reviews
MOM's market is on-site. I shop there occasionally but prefer the cheaper option of Giant down the street (a short drive or walk). The metro is a short and safe 5-minute walk away. The building does sit right off Lee Highway, but I have never had any noise or other problems associated with this. I like how quickly I can pull onto the major road instead of navigating around crowded city traffic. I drive to school in under 5 minutes via Lee Highway.
