Very happy with the Berkshire. Relatively new building that is right next to several shops and good amenities. Bus stop is right outside the building that will take you to KF or alternatively many MBA students live in this building or the neighbouring ones so it is easy to catch a ride with someone to class.

Tons of shops within a 5 minute walk: Aldi, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, Cava, etc. About a 10 minute drive to the UNC campus or Franklin St bars. There’s also the Bolin and Booker Creek trails for walking/running. Quality of the apartment is great, and feels modern compared to some of the other complexes.

Floorplans are spacious with plenty of closet storage and large kitchens with modern appliances. Amenities on-site include a gym, pool, dog park, office spaces, coffee bar, and game room. The covered parking garage is gated and included in the rent price. Management and maintenance are extremely helpful and respond quickly, typically within 24 hours. The location is as good as it gets within walking distance of 5 grocery stores, many restaurants, shops, and the Silverspot mall area.

they consistently increase prices, it's one of the higher end apartments in Chapel Hill. I love the walkability here with Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Aldi, and more than a handful of restaurants less than a 10 minute walk away. Management could be better here. I hope prices settle down as more apartments are built in Chapel Hill because this is very overpriced.

Very reasonable price for a 1 bedroom apartment in Chapel Hill. Rent includes parking in a covered garage with plenty of overnight guest passes which are a huge plus. Within 5 mins walk/drive of 4 grocery stores, restaurants and Silverspot Mall. 10-15 minute commute to KFBS. Amenities include free printing, coffee bar, gas grills, pool, fire pit, dog park, valet trash service, pool table and other games in common area, workspaces, and more. Management is very responsive and helpful fixing work orders within 48 based on my experience. Apartments are spacey with high ceilings featuring good kitchen appliances

Amazing experience, always clean, quiet and the staff is always friendly!

Berkshire is a clean, safe and amenity-packed apartment complex! The location is unbeastable with 4 grocery stores in walking distance as well as a few nearby trails. Many bus lines going to campus as well as to Durham right next to the apartment. The staff are also very kind and proactive, and plan some fun events like trivia for residents as well. Great gym, pool, lounge, and study areas. May be a bit pricey for living alone but a great value if you have a roomate (2b2b apt).

The location of the complex is great, walking distance to multiple restaurants and grocery stores. Nice selection of amenities, featuring a gym, pool, and coffee bar in the lobby. Rooms are spacious with large windows, however, if facing the pool your sunlight exposure will be slightly limited. Management is fine and repairs are conducted within 48 hours of maintenance requests.

Finishes are nice and the building feels modern. The leasing office is very friendly and I've enjoyed my experiences with them.
