Parking and Critters

It is close to campus, has a nice security gate, and is a nice apartment. However, there are only 2 parking spots inside the gate and no parking in the cul-de-sac (i.e. visitors have to park a couple blocks away). The house next door is being flipped and construction is loud all day; it should be done in a year. The huge wall of the overpass block cell reception, so you have yo enable call through wifi.

Cons:
End of the cul-de-sac, 1 unit in an old, renovated mansion.
The building is a bit old with some minor cosmetic damage.
No street parking, next door neighbor has lots of construction.
Hard to turn left out of street onto sunset, heavy traffic on sunset.

Pros:
4min drive to campus, unbeatable location.
Unbeatable $3750 price for prime Westwood, with 2-3 parking spots included.
Plenty of street parking across the way on Thurston, no limit, incredibly convenient.
Very spacious, granite floors, in-unit laundry (free)

Good location, nice apartment.

The building is about 30yrs old but each unit coming on the market has been fully renovated with a new kitchen/bathroom/flooring. The location is great - 8 min drive to school, close to shops in brentwood, and has a more residential feel than places closer to Wilshire. There's also a rooftop pool which doesn't hurt when it's summer all year long.

Proximity to campus is great

This building is very centrally located, though a car is pretty necessary. There are a number of Anderson students who live here.

Brentwood Reviews

Love living in Brentwood - walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and a few bars. Close to the 405 and UCLA. Takes 15 - 25 minutes to get to campus depending on traffic.
Proximate to campus. It's a 10 minute straight shot to Anderson and walkable to a nice variety of places - fitness studios, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc.
Safe and quiet.
Border of Westwood/Brentwood, right off the 405
San Vicente and Wilshire are the two best streets to live near in terms of walkability
Close to UCLA and good restaurants and shops to walk to
Close to campus, pretty safe area, lots of traffic, not a lot of overnight parking options, limited grocery options within walking distance.
Very nice neighborhood, close to campus, but can have bad traffic during rush hour.
