New management
Have lived here 3 years now, had only good experiences but for full disclosure management switched maybe 2 months ago. No notable changes since management switched as of yet.

Great location, well run building
Rent might be a touch expensive, but the building has excellent amenities (2nd floor balcony, lounge w/ pool table, gym, rooftop lounge), is extremely well run, and puts you in the heart of center city. Management is very responsive and the apartments are high quality and I have had very few issues with anything going wrong (save a dead light bulb)

Centralized Location Well Kept Property With Great Management
The good: This apartment building is fairly new, the apartments are super nice and it seems like it was well constructed with better sound proofing than I've had in previous large complexes. The concierge service here is generally fantastic, they even came up to feed my cat one day when I was on 28 hour call and completely forget to feed her in the morning. Maintenance has been very responsive though I haven't had a lot of things go wrong. Management has also been responsive to concerns. I had some issues with a loud neighbor and this was addressed promptly. Unlike some places, the package pick up service in parcel lockers is included, which is nice. The gym is fairly large with a little outdoor terrace, I feel no need to buy a gym membership elsewhere. There are also really nice common areas on the 2nd floor and a rooftop deck that gives great views of the Delaware river. The location is fantastic, a bit far from Penn but literally in the middle of everything else (restaurants, bars, close to the shopping district, theater district, old city, Reading terminal, the Italian Market, grocery stores). It's about a 35 minute brisk walk to Penn's campus or a 10 minute bike ride. Bus lines also stop right outside (42 and 21) and you could technically get to the subway/trolley pretty easily. Also, bike parking is included and secure in the basement!
The bad: Lots of people here have dogs, which provides for great dog watching entertainment however there have been multiple times where I've stepped in dog pee or nearly stepped in dog poop because some residents apparently do not clean up after their pets. If you pick a north facing apartment, beware, since you'll be facing Fergies which over the summer was VERY loud despite excellent window sound proofing (I live in a west facing apartment and definitely would not not consider moving to a unit any further north because of the bars). I will say this place is pretty expensive for what you get, likely due to the premium location. Storage within apartments is limited though there is storage in the basement if you pay extra. Parking is nearby is VERY expensive. Also, there are in unit washer/dryers but the dryer doesn't work particularly well (washer is perfect), I think because it's not vented to the outside so it's a struggle to get my clothes completely dry (an even bigger struggle with sheets and towels). I had management look at this and was told "this is how it is".
In Summary: Overall I love it here but might be driven to move somewhere else to find more space for the price I'm paying here.

Highly Recommend!
I literally love living in this building! The management is amazing. I haven't had a single issue with them. The building is very well maintained, the staff is super nice, and its a very secure building. It's a few blocks out of the "Wharton bubble" but literally right near where everyone goes to go out or have social events. There are four bus options right outside and the trolley is about two blocks away. Wharton students can literally take a straight shot to class.

Midtown Village Reviews
The area is filled with lots of young people. I don't feel unsafe walking around even at night because there are people out all the time. There are a couple of narrow streets I probably wouldn't walk through though.
