Well this is outdated a little
I have a lease from Covid so I am paying about $500-800 less than I would be if I got the same lease now. It's only worth it because of that. If I was paying more I'd leave. I too busy to write more....

Great for students
It is really nice not having to worry about paying for utilities as rent includes everything you need. There is also no pet rent and very little pet restrictions. The kitchen is a communal space on select floors so you do not have a full kitchen in your apartment which gives it dorm vibes. There are plenty of areas throughout the complex to do homework at outside of your room and there is wifi throughout the building. There is also a printer in the lobby you can use for free. The courtyard is beautiful as well. I do wish there was air conditioning and more storage in the apartments. However, the apartments come furnished with a microwave, fridge, murphy bed, desk, and chair. The staff hold monthly activities for residents as well.

Altogether recommended!
The location is perfect for school. Landlord is very responsive, repairs are made right away. While our neighbors right now play loud music a lot (sigh) over the 5 years we've been here our neighbors have mostly been quiet. Due to the location there are a number of OHSU students/residents.

Nice Place
This is a really nice place to live. Its very clean, well maintained and the office staff are friendly. Only downside is that parking is heinously expensive, and is not guaranteed for all residents. Sometimes maintenance will talk a while to get to you, but it usually always ends up getting fixed. The building is new, so there has been little to no trouble.

Boathouse Apartments
Great view (if you have an apartment facing the river), and the property is adding new amenities and services every day. Very active neighborhood community, and community events are held frequently. Probably a little pricey for the quality of appliances, etc., but the view and extras you get as a resident more than make up for it. However, the noises coming from apartments above do seem to be amplified a little bit for some reason. Also, there's a hair trigger fire alarm in the kitchen, but it can be easily taken out and stowed in another room while you're cooking/baking. VERY close to L&C at about a 5 min. drive, and close to multiple restaurants as well as the Zupan's on Macadam.
