Mixed building with minimal interaction with neighbors but a quiet and clean place to live.

Apartment is huge, appliances are relatively new, management is very responsive. Great for hosting people. Great location - 10 to 15 minutes to get to campus, walking distance to all of the great food in sawtelle. Easy to get to venice and santa monica bars.

We really like that it's a big apartment, spacious kitchen, 2 parking spots. We have a larger master bedroom that one roommate pays extra for.

What we don't like ...
No secure bike storage
Messy neighbours (likely other UCLA students) who leave trash in common areas.
Being on the ground level and north facing leaves us with almost no sunlight.

1500 Purdue is a perfect apartment complex for roommates who want to be close to the social scene in Sawtelle/Brentwood/Santa Monica but also want a very short commute to campus.

Clean, large, location close to school, a lot of Andersons in the building and in the area

Purdue Ohio has absoutely huge apartments with 3br/3ba with hardwood floors, nice looking bathrooms, and a ton of storage space, real classy joint. Not a ton of amenities, but I honestly don't care about that. It's right around where most people in Brentwood live (there a few larger Anderson complexes nearby) and it's great having a ton of Andersonians in the same building. Washer/Dryer in unit = epic.

Great if you like cooking, homebrewing, having people come and hang out, etc. Can't really have parties late night, but landlord is cool with you having people over during the day or early evening as long as you let her know in advance (20 people, no problem - 50 people, problem). Highly recommended.

Nice building overall, but amenities are severely lacking considering the price we are paying for the unit. Ants crawl through the cracks in the floors and corners of the kitchen and bathrooms. We have gotten professional treatment several times but they still keep coming back. Not much natural light in the unit (aside from the penthouses). The biggest plus for this building is the proximity to UCLA with mostly updated interiors in a fairly nicer neighborhood. I believe we pay an exorbitant amount for parking, whereas other buildings nearby have a much smaller monthly fee.
