Great appartments

I think UV apartments it's a great place to live with family at UCLA. The biggest deal it is UV isn't near the university and the neighborhood is not as cool as Westwood.

Ideal Family Living at University Village Apartments

Living at UCLA University Village has been a wonderful experience for my family. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is spacious and well-maintained, providing the perfect setup for our family of four. The security here is excellent, giving us peace of mind, and the neighbors are friendly and respectful. The swimming pool and proximity to the recreation center make it easy to enjoy quality family time and stay active. Overall, it’s a safe, welcoming, and convenient place to call home. Highly recommend for families!

Great Value in LA

This apartment complex offers some great features like its quiet atmosphere and spacious units, making it a good option, especially for families. Maintenance requests are typically handled promptly, and the rent is very competitive for the size of the apartments. However, some apartments are remodeled and others are not. It is far from UCLA, so it is a 20 minute drive or 45 minute bus ride to campus. The parking garage is quite small, which can be a major hassle. The pool is also on the smaller side, and the clubhouse feels a bit outdated. Unfortunately, there was one break-in, which is a serious concern that management needs to take seriously. Overall, University Village has its pros, I do like living here.

Dated apartments at a good price

The apartments are nothing special. However, they feel safe and come with garages which can fit up to a small SUV. Storage is good and the location is nice with 10-20 minute car and 30-50 minute bus commutes to ucla. For the price, it is a great option for couples or small families.

Has its pros and cons

Good compared to the cost, and I think it is a good place especially if you have kids. I like the 2 bed 2 bath floor plan. Since the living room is in between the two rooms, it's perfect for having guests. UCLA childcare is right next to the property. But it doesn't have gym or guest parking. This place is quite close to the airport, which makes it convenient for travelling.

University Village Apartments for families

Although rent has increased significantly this year (nearly $1,000), it’s still a more affordable option compared to the prices you’ll find around LA. The apartments are spacious and well-maintained, the community is fantastic, and the complex offers great amenities, including a pool, basketball court, and laundry facilities.

Good value

Good community and great price. A bit far from campus (40 min by bus, door to door), so having a car is more convenient (15 min by car).
