Great location and amenities.

The location is amazing because it's so close to campus and downtown, but still in a quieter corner of downtown with little traffic or pedestrians. Amenities include three spacious pools that are hardly used and very clean and well-equipped gyms. The tandem parking is the only downside, but that is common for apartments in this area.

Excellent if you have a roommate!!

It is quite expensive under a 1 person/bedroom model. However, it's both affordable and quite good if you can split the cost.

Excellent if you have a roommate!!

I love living at the Da Vinci Apartments. They have excellent amenities, reasonable prices, and a good location for USC students. Obviously, the one hang-up is the price. Because I live with my girlfriend, the price has been affordable for me (at approximately the same level as living at Terrace). However, I definitely could not afford this on my own.

Great value for price

The value at Da Vinci is very good. My musts were: parking, safety, proximity to school, and quiet location. Da Vinci has these and also has excellent amenities such as pool, gym, saunas, study rooms, rooftop, barbecues, vending machines, package lockers, 24/7 security, food trucks twice a week. Parking is tandem but convenient and gated. The downsides are that sometimes there are loud parties and the smell of marijuana is at times pervasive. However, the security are easy to reach by phone and will promptly shut down any parties. Also, there is almost no guest parking so it is difficult to have guests. Management is good and responsive. Overall, I am happy with this apartment complex. I feel that I live in a safe and clean place.

Good place to live, if you have a roommate(s)

If you have a roommate, this is a good place to live (it's too expensive a place to live at alone). Pros: it has all the amenities (gyms, study centers, etc.), you can pay rent online, request maintentance support online, it's very secure because you need an electronic key to access the property. Cons: tandem parking, expensive, it's located right next to the freeway (so if you get an apartment that actually faces the freeway, you can still hear the traffic even with the double paned windows. However, the noise is manageable. It just sucks that you cant open your window or leave the backdoor open for fresh air... because then it WOULD be too loud)

It's fine

The apartment complex is nice. We have had difficulties dealing with the management team. Additionally, additional parking spots to purchase for 3 bedrooms are not always available.

Da Vinci Apartments

Amazing amenities without the noise and chaos of central downtown. Da Vinci feels secluded, regardless of proximity to freeway. The noise is canceled by double-paned windows and doors. Rent is fair for what you get.
