I love this place!
This apartment complex is in the perfect area. It is quiet, but there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. You definitely need a car to get around though. The parking is included in the rent and it is in a covered parking garage. I have absolutely no complaints. I love it here.

The Flats at West Broad Village Review
Great experience. A little pricey but the apartments are very nice and it’s a great/safe community to life in.

Love living here!
It has been a wonderful experience living at the Flats! It is in walking distance to great restaurants and other activities (like glow-in-the-dark mini golf). And, it is 2-minutes from the Short Pump Mall. It is extremely safe with a secure parking garage attached to the complex.

Lots of old people
Really nice apartments, rent is a bit high for the area but the convince is awesome. About <10min drive to Capital ones campus. Not that many young people living in this complex/area so you'll find yourself taking a Uber/Lyft downtown on weekends. The cab fare downtown usually cost around $15-$20 to and from Short Pump.

Nice, but pricey
My apartment is really nice compared to anything you will find in the fan or downtown but of course you pay for it. Most events happen in the Fan or Downtown so driving is involved but there is still a ton to do in Short Pump and it only takes 10 minutes to get to work, if that.

West Broad Village
The apartments in the West Broad Village are quite nice but the location is a bit too commercial

Love my place- worth the $
My apartment is really great 1000 sq ft with 1 bedroom and a den which I converted into an office so I can comfortably work from home as needed. I am 10 minutes from the west creek campus and glen allen offices. Everything from whole foods to trader joes is in walking distance and the mall and all other grocery stores are down the street. Easy highway access- so getting down town is simple- I love it! Most importantly it is a really safe neighborhood and I feel very comfortable living by myself there. The building and parking deck is secure. The downside is, I came in with an awesome rent specail and in renewing the rent was raised over $100 which wasn't negotiable. The area and amenities makes it totally worth the money espeially since I could have a roomate using the Den if I truly wanted to cut costs. All my PMDP friends love coming voer after work during the summer because there is a huge pool area and we cook out. Living in the Flats has helped make my first year in richmond and start of my career much more comfortable and fun. It feels like home and most importantly is super safe with easy access to anything ya need!

About Glen Allen
Glen Allen Reviews
Chipotle, Target, Martins, Macy's, Best Buy, Dicks, Movie Theatre and much more are all less than 5 minutes away.
Safe neighborhood with nearby fire station, state police station, and urgent care clinic
Apartments are relatively new (built in the late 90's I believe)
Right near the 295/95/64 junction which makes getting to work, short pump, the fan, or downtown a ~15 minute drive.
Rarely any traffic congestion on the 295 to/from work.
Cons:
Although there is a BWW right down the street, you aren't walking distance from the good places most people go out to. Uber's will set you back $20 each way. Make friends with people with nice couches :)
