McManus just works. It isn't great. But, it works.

McManus is the best option out there considering the value for the money

McManus is surely not one of the most glamorous places in Evanston. However, if you are a Kellogg student, it is the most convenient, affordable and hassle free option.
Considering the dearth of time (it gets crazy busy at Kellogg!), I feel McManus provides the best value in terms of saving a ton of transit time and hassle

Although the apartments aren't as new and well cared as newer condo's, being closer to Jake and having the convenience of study rooms and printers make up for it.

There are certainly some conveniences that come from living on campus, but McManus is an older building that feels like dorm-living. Certainly not for everyone, but gets the job done.

McManus is extremely depressing: not a lot of sunlight in the apartments, terrible smelling everywhere, questionable safety of the gas stove next to the bed (in the studio), no possibility to adjust the heater that is way too warm all the time... The only advantages of McManus are really the price (you do not have to pay any rent during the summer) and the location close to the campus.

Mcmanus is a pretty nice place to live. If you do not want the hassle of buying furniture and setting up a place from scratch, then this is definitely the place for you. It has all the amenities built into the building including study-rooms, gym, computer labs and free laundry rooms. It is also close to everything else around Evanston, which feels pretty good. The other good thing is you do not have to rent this space during the summer when you probably will be out some other place for your internship.

In terms of overall look and feel, I think that Mcmanus may not be as good as some other apartments and yes it does not have a dishwasher. Also it may feel a little stuffy at times especially in the corridors. If you have a very sensitive nose, you may not enjoy walking through the corridors when each and every apartment is cooking something or the other.

Great place to be in especially for the first year when you are recruiting and all events are back to back and those off campus are in the hilton orrington. Also great to have all the study rooms at your disposal

McManus is good if you are Kellogg Student, but also since it serves the students not much is done in the way of making the place better. It feels like you are living in the dorms. The carpet is not very nice, the kitchen is small and not nice.

McManus is nice and convenient. You'll find that you have many group meetings here, and there are printing facilities too. The people at reception are helpful. The apartments are really warm, and everything works (stove, air con etc.).

You're also located right in the heart of central Evanston, and only 5-8 minutes walk to the Jacobs centre. It's only a few minutes from the L.

The only thing I would suggest they improve is cleaning the ways. You can see weird marks on the walls - looks like snot or something!
