Location
Love the location. It is two blocks from the chain of lakes. Also located right by the Greenway bike path. With such a busy schedule, it is great being so close to recreational activities.

Uptown Lake Apartments
The location of these apartments is great. Right on the corner of Lyndale Ave S and W Lake Street (I will add, since I know that Lake Street is associated with what happened over the summer, that it is not located far enough down Lake Street where it was effected by the riots over the summer). There is underground parking if you have a car that costs $100/month. There is also a reliable bus stop right on the corner that goes straight down lyndale to downtown if you need public transit (I took it for two years, it's about a 20 min bus ride). I lived in a 3 bedroom which was 2 bedrooms and a loft. I lived up in the loft and loved it, you get your own bathroom up there. There is a small gym and courtyard. They say there is a hottub but in the 4 years I lived there is was maybe working fo 3 months one summer. The biggest negative about these apartments is definitely management. They are slow to respond and aren't very on top of their jobs. If you hassle them enough like we did, they will get things done for you. Overall it was a perfect place to live while going to school at UST.
