Great place yo live at

It's great location and the management is super easy to deal with. The services upon request are done pretty quickly and the common amenities are kept clean. The apartments are nice but rent is a little too high but I think this is just the area problem, not the building's. Close to gyms, things around, grocery stores, easy to live with a pet, access to running trails, easy access to metro. Overall I'd say a great place to live at.

Location Cannot be Beat!

If you want to live in a simultaneously walkable and drivable location, there is no better place to do it than at the Market Common. The apartment is 2 blocks from the metro, next to a bus stop, across the street from Whole Foods, 2 blocks from Trader Joe's, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The management is responsive to requests, and rent is surprisingly affordable given the location. The gym in the apartment is not that great, but it's not a problem given that Gold's Gym and Washington Sports Club are literally next door. I used to live in the middle of DC but couldn't do so anymore after I got a car. The Market Common gives me a walkable lifestyle, reasonable parking fees, proximity to public transportation, and highway accessibility without obscene amounts of traffic. I highly recommend!

Market Common

Although the apartment complex is in a great location in Arlington, it is a long commute in the morning to DC due to delayed metro trains and traffic. The building has a concierge which is great for delivering packages and safety. There is also two elevators, one of which you can reserve for moving purposes. Brand new appliances and apartment was renovated right before we moved in to include (fake) wood floors. Overall, management is very receptive to any complaints or needs. Pet friendly with a good patch of grass in the courtyard.

Awesome location with metro closeby

Exceptional management office, maintenance team, and concierge is always aware of local happenings. Looked all over the area to try and find other properties comparable in price and location, but The Residences at The Market Common can't be beat. Really love the proximity to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and even to be able to walk down through Arlington to Georgetown, D.C.

Perfect Clarendon Location w/vibrant local feel

The Residences at The Market Common is just 1.5 blocks from the Clarendon Metro in the heart of EVERYTHING. We love the building and everything has been renovated with granite and stainless steel. Minimal neighbor noise and the leasing office is always helpful.

Very safe and quiet. There are some good restaurants close by and it’s a quick walk to Clarendon for more dining options.
Safe, clean, and plenty to do. DC proper is very accessible.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my neighborhood. I'm between dupont and u street, so it's not in the middle of it all, which I appreciate. I'm literally 2 blocks from 14th street where all the great restaurants/bars are. I'm also 5-7 mins walking distance to multiple grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway). It's quiet enough to feel like I'm not in a city, but i'm steps away from being reminded that I am.
Courthouse (located right between Rosslyn and Clarendon), is a very convenient area, with lots of shopping, grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants. The metro station is in the center of the neighborhood and leads right to downtown DC, and the area feels very safe, including at night.
This is a very good neighborhood with an easy commute to McLean. It's a very walkable area with Trader Joes and Whole Foods nearby and many other shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a dog park as well as a park (Rocky Run) that has basketball courts and a turf field.
A nice place with plenty of night life, restaurants, and things to do. Pretty safe and upscale. A little cheaper than living in Foggy Bottom but were it not for my wife's work, I might opt to be closer to GW. The commute isnt bad though, 15 or 20 mins by metro.
Average neighborhood, food scene is unexceptional. If the law school wasn't right here I wouldn't be living here. Tons of crowds and people not taking masks / social distancing / pandemic in general serious and going to bars and clubs.
DC people are snooty about those living in Clarendon, but I love it! You get out of the city to a safe, walk-able area with high-end shops and restaurants steps from home. Metro and bus access is fantastic! I don't need a car!
