Would not recommend

While this place is close to the highway, close to shopping, dining, entertainment, and SOME public transportation, it has progressively gotten worst over the past 2 years. When you move in, the salesman does their job. Makes you feel welcome and wanted. After you sign that paper though, you find out all the bad pretty quick. After you sign that paper, there is no more help from management. The trash is always overflowing, the grounds are far from clean. Sure there is 2 court yards, but they have no view. I would NOT move in here. I am currently looking to move out.

Convenient Location, Management could be better

The Domain Brewers Hill is located right off of Boston St. I love how I can walk to my gym, and that there's a ton of cool bars and restaurants blocks away that we can easily walk to on a nice day. My apartment has great views of the city and the harbor. All in all it's a great place to live, my only complaint is the management. They don't always follow up promptly on issues such as the garage doors malfunctioning and trash being overloaded. Other than that it's great. You can get more space for less if you live in a rowhome but I love the fact that I don't have to circle the block searching for parking and the safety factor is huge.

Great Neighborhood

Lots of dogs around, mostly young professionals, a few graduate students and a few mid-thirties. The neighborhood is fantastic! Lots of stores, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. The inside is beautiful and very modern looking. The gym is decent: not huge, but big enough to get a solid sweat session in.

Canton

I really enjoy living in Brewers Hill the location is amazing, however the pricing is a bit steep. I am able to walk to majority of places, and I really enjoy the gym and the pool however for the price the apartment is slightly small. If the apartment was larger I would feel more obliged to pay the high rent.

my apartment

I really love living in this building. It is quiet, well maintained, plenty of parking, beautifully apartments. I love the location too. It's in a safe neighborhood, lots or stores and restaurants are nearby, there is also a convenient public transportation to the downtown. The leasing staff provide good service but the concierge staff is not so kindly. We live in a one bedroom comfortable apartment with a courtyard view. I am really happy with our choice of apartment and location in Baltimore.

Decent

The cost is insane and doesn't include any amenities, utilities or parking. The staff are generally friendly but often times emails go unanswered. Security is not actually 24/7. Recent renovations are nice. Parking is expensive. Gym is decent if you need a treadmill to run on.

Canton

Living in Canton is an amazing location. You can be walking distance to the Square, close to Fells Point, the Tunnel to get on 895, as well as 95. Definitely is a great, young up and coming neighborhood!

Getting around Canton

Canton Reviews

6 reviews
Like all of Baltimore, Canton residents love to drink. You'll find a number of bars in the area and some pretty great eats, too. Canton Square is a great place to start if you're new to the neighborhood. Can't really go too terribly wrong with any of the options there.

Canton also has a reasonable amount of green space for city living. It's located between Patterson Park to the north and the Korean War Memorial Park to the south.

Generally speaking, Canton is about as safe as Baltimore gets but you should still be wary. Crimes do happen and if you're a member of the Canton Neighbors facebook group you hear all about it.

Canton is a great location - convenient to both Fells and Inner Harbor as well as to I-95 that lets you get out of the city quickly. Really enjoy living here!
We love the neighborhood. It is so convenient that Harris Teeter and Target are right across the street. Along with many dining options. The Swuare is also only a few blocks away.
Convenient to bars, stores, restaurants.
There are lots of things to do in Canton, which makes it a popular spot for young professionals and recent college graduates. As long as you're OK in this crowd, then Canton can be a really fun place to live and play. Otherwise, I'd suggest a calmer neighborhood, like Mt. Vernon or Locust Point.
The area is great. Very safe for Baltimore, lots of young professionals, walk able to many stores and food/drink spots.
Canton is a safer, quiet neighborhood with a mixture of young professionals and families. There are relatively few families with older children as people tend to move out of the city when children approach school age. There are tons of restaurants, and grocery shopping is pretty walkable.
