Park Charles
I really enjoy my space here. It is very safe and a lot of students are in the building. They just opened up Street Market and Cafe right underneath the building, which is perfect. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. My only complaint is that it is located right on the verge of West Baltimore. If you walk straight down to Inner Harbor, then it is perfectly fine. If you walk north towards Lexington Market, then you are in complete different environment.

My experience
My experience at Park Charles has been very good. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Lot sof amenitities are included - water, heating/cooling. Good location, centrally located near downtown Baltimore and Mount Vernon. I am very lucky to live here

Great Place to live.
Wonderful building, 24 hour front desk service. Great friendly staff. Spotless grounds. Located in center of the city and close to Harbor Place, theaters, museums, galleries and world renown universities and hospitals. This home to students and professionals from around the world.

Park Charles- great place to live
Our 2 bedroom apt was ideal for us! great management- very responsive and always ready to help. The apartment itself was spacious, didn't have luxury finishes but worked for us. The location was fantastic and we have a lovely park view which we love! Reasonable rent especially for the space. Parking lot is underground- has a weird lay out- have to pay separately- $160/car which I thought was a bit much. Overall, love the place and loved the people managing it!

Good management, but high increases in rent
Park Charles hides in its quiet triangle between Charles and Liberty streets but at the same time remains highly accessible to what downtown Baltimore has to offer. The building management is average by apartment complex standards. Prompt package receipt notice and time-efficient work orders delivery. The staff is in general friendly. However, the annual rent increase was high in the area and non-negotiable. Also, at least two major crime happened in the building, and residents were never told with an explanation.

Excellent mangement & Great place to live
Fantastic staff, nice location, and well maintained building. The amenities are pretty good too. Could do with updated appliances, etc, but very good for the price and location.
Parking is an issue in that it is expensive, and availability is not great (you always find parking, but it is tight at times because of the reserved spots).
